Phuket's Yanui Beach Shore Dive: Ep. 94 - Eastbound and Up

J. Blue and Andy head to Yanui Beach in Rawai, Phuket for a beautiful shore dive off the island. Enduring a 400+ meter surface swim, they finally dive down to some beautiful coral heads and sea life, skirting the island's edge while fighting a head current, before turning back to resurface and swim to shore.

Man! A complete underwater graveyard of bleached coral covered in brown algae. COVID-19 is probably the best thing that ever happened to Phuket’s coral. Unfortunately, even a 10 or 20 year complete shutdown couldn’t repair the damage done by 1,000s Chinese tourists standing on that coral in the last 3 years. Soooo sad.
