XuZhangWang is being ridiculous. They are
wearing the clothes that look pretty decent
and appropriate for this martial art. Nice
    video .

this kid is way too tense......power in bagua comes from relaxation and proper use of the dan tien and kwa the upper body needs to stay relaxed.. qigong teaches the true way to stay relaxed because the student will feel the differences in the energy being projected in the body and will much improve bagua techniques GOD BLESS and my your chi flow ^_^

@banjobilly There has been some debate about whether or not doings these chi exercises could be 'dangerous' to do. I have been doing these exercises in power methods 1. And for some month I have often been a little ill. The last 2 weeks it's have been even more. I now it could be anything in the world and I will also go see my doctor. I was just wondering if there maybe could be a little explanation here..?

@banjobilly I realize this comment was made about a year ago, but I have to say something about the powers of the three internal arts tai chi, pa kua, and hsing i. I wittnessed the powers first hand, and started studying them myself. My teacher was a small man and could strike me in such a way that would send me flying for a good 6-7 feet before my legs would touch the floor again. Literally send me laterally back 6-7ft airborne. The hits were not bone crushing or anything like that CONT>>>

Power in bagua comes from relaxation. But the exercises like 'lower coiling palm' and 'the phoenix' are without discussion really tough leg work.
And I am doubtful about how to use my arms. I have done quiet a lot of iyengar yoga where I was told always to be active in all my body. Of course not totally tensed, but active. And there is quite a difference in being relaxed and only using the minimum power necessary and being 'active' where you are putting more energy in the arms.?

@banjobilly However, I know that he could make the hits forceful enough to be bone crushing. I was simply a stubborn student, and he took all doubt out of my head. Really, I know he was holding back and was not intending of doing me any harm. No dought in my mind that he had the capability to do internal damage if he choose too. But unlike most fighting arts, the internal takes an enormous amount of time to reach such a level. At that time I am guessing he practiced PK HI &TC 30+ years.

yessir.... the techniques are excellent good video nonetheless>>> the techniques you show here are very good for the student to get a hold of there body movements especially in such an intricate art as bagua.... and like you said whatever doesnt hurt wont affect your body.. all that stuff ozono27 posted is of little significance unless your are trying to reach supernatural levels of ability. most of it is just superstition... "We create the world with our thoughts." Peace.

Hi there... I'm a Bagua, Taiji and QiGong student... not really advanced, I need to say that, but I can say one thing: meridian's energy is not little thing. You could seriously harm somebody stimulating the wrong kind of energy (by acupuncture, qigong or any other method). Each person has it's energy profile (ups and downs) on each of the body energies, and should be taught by a Sifu aware of this things. Practice too much, the wrong movement in a bad way, in the worst hour and day of the year,
