I watched this when it first premiered on the old Disney channel in the summer of 1989 when we still had black and white tv shows like the Mickey Mouse club, etc. This makes me feel so old at 33! Have you seen the one and only original genuine family band. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn met in that movie. I have seen and have alot of original Disney movies.

Anybody knows where this was filmed? I stayed both on Maui and the big island and think this was filmed in neither places. Oahu? But on the movie Susan is returning by boat to Oahu so I guess not? Is it the north shore of oahu or Kauai? Doubt it was Molokai

I never understood how and/or why Charlotte Brink took up residence in a hotel! I'm sure that even before the 2-week Australian honeymoon ended that everyone quit, Sharon took the girls home to California, and the old witch was forced to do everything herself - even with a broken leg!

@@AaronSaltzer I'm saying by 1989 Disney was moving to gain a new genre of audience it seems. For that reason Parent Trap 4 wasn't even truly focused on Hayley Mills but her story was a sub story. Just like the original Not Quite Human was more Alan Thicke driven but moved toward Chip the android son as the focus in the sequels made around that time.
I think that when Jeff told Charlotte Brink the triplets were her hangover for 2 weeks that it was his way of telling her: "I'm sorry, Mrs. Brink, but you wanted to own the hotel, and you'll just have to make the best of situations you hate!"
