I didn't like the locsanity tool and invested in the London Loc Tool from Locks Royale in the UK. I like how it clips to my loc and I can just push it all the way through easily without dropping it. Retie on wet hair makes it easier to separate marrying at the root but can cause a tight retie once it dries. I also found a 2-point rotation in my thinner sections reduces the pressure on my roots.

Personal choice, I didn’t want it to cause my hair to slip or come undone. From WhatI understand.. by my hair being dry and product free it can more easily tangle around itself & start the locking process

Retires would be easier with the mini latch hook. Believe me it works.

I plan to experiment with other tools in the future I wanted to stick to one while I get comfortable with the process

I actually do retie on damp hair now. But this cideo was my FIRST retie and I didn’t learn that tip until til the second time around
