Hey guys! I recently attended a research conference called the APS March Meeting in Las Vegas. This was my second conference as a PhD student and I gave a talk on my work. Had a great time attending the meeting and exploring Vegas at the same time. Hope you enjoy the vlog!

Please answer my question … i have a high masters gpa and i am serious and smart … starting a phd program in uiuc shortly.. is Phd hard? I an kinda intimidated by the fact that i am from the middle east and a bit doubting my abilities ? I don’t need support but i need truth is it way too hard and time consuming to the unbearable extent? Or is it manageable ?

Don't worry about it too much. It's actually very manageable. Just be careful and talk to a lot of people when you're choosing your advisor, cuz that's an important decision. There will always be people around you to help, to take feedback from. So everything will be fine
