An important video for DLP fans and management: this is not a rant, these are facts.

Honestly I've felt like Indiana Jones has been rough for about 15 years. It's very painful and gives headaches. I would say every rollercoaster on the resort apart from crush's coaster needs a full retrack. Crush's coaster needs a second track, to double the capacity. They should have never built that ride in a Disney resort due to the poor capacity.

I think the worst problem in Disneyland Paris is premier access. It is so overpriced and for some of the ride queues for eg autopia it only takes you half way through the queue and you still have to wait. I wish fast passes or something similar returned

Disneyland paris is showing its age, for the first time ever I have decided not to take my annual trip. Am off to europa park instead !

Indy was rough pretty much from the beginning, I hurt my ears so many times on that ride :-) Those tracks should last a lot longer. I mean, Matterhorn Bobsleds were built over 60 years ago, was indeed the first tubular steel rollercoaster ever and as far as I know, never had a complete replacements of the tracks done.

Not building new rides at a steady pace over the years is biting Disneyland Paris in the butt with a vengeance. Studios is a walled maze currently and the Disneyland Park is a museum at this point. Space Mountain being the last new, additional ride built in 30 years next year is mind boggling. Capacity has become a huge problem. Something like Web Slingers or Dumbo should be rides you have only wait 15 minutes for at most. Instead those rides get insane wait times, doubling, tripling or more. The only way out is Disney building multiple rides at the same time, so that they can open a new one every one or two years. That or something like Tokyo's Fantasy Springs. That third gate might actually help with these problems. Especially as it would be build on the other side of the hotels, effectively splitting the guests over the resort.

I agree with everything in this video. I go to Disneyland Paris a few times the last years and the rides are mostly old and boring. I basically skip them all nothing worth queuing for. I personally don’t care for animatronics like piartes or the whole Toy Story land is incredibly basic and appeals to kids with no thrill rides at all. Or the rides have just had a slap of paint and called something new and that’s incredibly boring as well. It feels like Disneyland Paris doesn’t matter at all they stuff the crowds in and want us to pay top dollar for the worst experiences. One of the last times I went the fountain outside it’s a small world had the biggest crack and leak in it. It was so unlike disney to let something so broken be on show like that.

I think the Disneyland park could use another new e ticket ride there e tocket rides are only really Thunder Mountian, Hyperspace Mountian(please bring back earth to the moon) Indiana Jones and Pirates Of The Carribean. Another e ticket in fantasyland maybe could really benifit the park.

  • @PekkaLuokkala

Disneyland Paris might be the most beautiful park, but it also has a lot of problems to be solved, like an app and over priced food for example.

Honestly 10 euros for a sandwich is about high street prices in London. Ive been more disappointed in the fancy restaurants. Stop doing the set menus.

  • @peterwatkins9850

The worst thing for me is there's not enough new attractions in the park, also shows are put on only for a short period. The expense doesn't justify going and I can only see it improving if Universal build a large park in the uk

  • @DensityDennis

I went to Disney for two days yesterday. I went there as a child and took my girlfriend there for the magical experience. There were two major downsides for me. First was the food quality and variety and also the enormous amount of guests which makes it almost impossible to move freely through the park. It was packed so badly, people were constantly bumping into us and it was so unimaginably annoying. Besides that, it was amazing and the experience of a lifetime for us! 😍

  • @connorhodgett31

The genuine lack of thrill rides… yes it’s a Disney park but another major thrill ride is massively required imo

Fair and balanced analysis. Thanks for putting out such great coverage of DLP. The park deserves better management, for sure!

  • @honeyfromthebee

This video is spot on. In my opinion, the overall main problem that the Paris parks suffer from is

  • @nrgmn

Glad I watched this after coming back from DLP! All the rides were open for us, staff were really nice, no major issues apart from queues later in the day. However, I do agree that the Indiana Jones ride is really rough! It's like Nemesis at Alton Towers (UK) but way more rickety. I'm glad they're maintained a lot but some are evidently looking at being replaced soon. The queues for kiddy rides are scandalous. You can't expect a 5 year old to wait 45 minutes for a 2 minute Dumbo flight! They need more kids rides, duplicate them if need be all over the park. We had the magic hour pass and stayed in the Marvel hotel - check in was like organised chaos though. (Staff were great but it's a crazy system) Don't even get me started on the app... did they even consult a UX specialist?? We were there for just over 2 days. Up at 6:15am every day, used the magic hour heavily, ate earlier than most to avoid more queues and crowds, loved the buffets. Used the plastic pass over the app. Take a phone battery charger with you as well. You will burn through your phone battery like crazy! This was our first visit and we pretty much covered every ride and attraction we wanted to do. There were also a lot of boards up with new things being built so they're evidently trying to build a lot more stuff. Would we go back..? Probably not but we did have a great time. Kids loved it.

  • @sachaconcerts8953

I think one of the problems is most food locations closing at 5pm... why is everything closing so early and now we have to walk all the way to the village or eat the most expensive restaurants that stay open till 7pm and are very busy

  • @mollywillcox4827

I agree with everything! I visited last month and the cracks really are showing now. The rides are desperately needing to be re-done otherwise I fear a horrible accident is likely to happen. Indiana Jones felt incredibly unsafe riding it. Not to mention the various Disney staff multiple times being so rude to many guests, I was told directly 'Mickey Mouse is a bad boss' from a member of staff....the magic is fading fast in DLP.

  • @samuelwitwicky3900

And here I am complaining about some of the inconveniences of the US resort apps, but holy crap I am bewildered that the Disneyland Paris app is completely anti-user friendly.
