If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer 11, you can reload it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge. The same Internet Explorer 11 apps and sites you use today can open in Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode.... support.micros...
If you still want the Internet Explorer Browser to do somethings, you can do a setting on the Microsoft Edge Browser to still allow the IE to be opended .

Please try this: while using your edge, make sure you are using an updated version of edge, open the site on the browser, then look out for three dots at the extreme top left hand side of the browser , click on the three dots , look for the option "Reload in internet explorer ' and click on it. Accept any option that comes out ( sometime you may see click for more or click to continue, just go ahead and click it) then login in to the site if it requires login details
. This will resolve it..
