The 2024 US Open main draw runs from August 26 - September 8 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 144th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Serbia's Novak Djokovic and United States' Coco Gauff claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was Djokovic’s 24th Grand Slam title and Gauff’s first Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another spectacular tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. @@ValentinG23 not really. Their camps, training, coaches etc. are all expensive. At the end he is probably left with 50% of that and as professional athletes that isn't a lot especially for this level of tournament.

@@astrahcat1212 Not so. Won 1 slam in 2013 while Nadal won 2 slams. Also outranked by other players in 2016 and 2019. Won no slams in 2017 to mid-2018. In 2024 so far won only Olympics whilst others won masters and slams.

Novak is Novak.. He wins even when he plays bad... He played a very bad match today... He is clearly short of match practice.. It showed today.. He played the same way in Australian open but there he had the wrist issue... Again it seems like he is struggling with his forehand.. Novak with his forehand on song is amongst the best sight in tennis.. Everything falls in place if his forehand is clicking.

At this point it seems lower ranked players are happy to simply play against the GOAT. They don't care if they win or loose, they just want to experience what it's like playing against him.
