No , what's really sickening , is that the State of Idaho would let this monster get away with cold blooded murder in the 1st degree with a plea bargain of 2nd degree murder with a sentence of 3 to 30 years instead of life in prison with no parole or the death penalty!!!!
@@williamvictorian1756 It’s Utah but yeah. I believe he would have been convicted without Dylan’s Body with no problem … but unfortunately I don’t think they would have ever found him if there was no plea deal.

3-30 years. Utah has such weird sentencing. He’ll die in prison. Of that I have no doubt. May his family find peace not having to go through a waste of a trial.

They did it to get Dylan's body. That's why. That's why they offer deals; the State wants something that the Defendant won't readily give up. Plus, it's what the family wanted.

They wanted to find where Dylan was so he could be put to rest by his family... He agreed as long as some charges got dismissed. The main goal was for him to lead them to where he put Dylan. That's just the way it goes in these situations.

My mom was murdered by a serial killer and have greatly benefited from the prayers of so many people of a wide spectrum of faiths. Christians, Buddhists, a few Muslims and even agnostics. Prayers help.
Together we can all make a little difference in their struggle to heal.

I used to be against the death penalty. I've changed my tune these days.
In Russia they keep you alive as long as possible in your incarceration. A living Hell. I see the reasoning in that as well.

There's a documentary about it. I'd like to know your thoughts if you would watch it and come back here to have a dialogue. My mother was taken by a serial killer in the most brutal way. So I'm trying to bounce off of good common people in an attempt to rationalise the correct way to administer justice.

Yall need to understand the reasons for the plea deal 1. They needed to find Dylan. Would you rather not find him?
2. Plea deals also save the family from a long gruesome trial with the horrid details being told. Something no one wants to hear.
3. He's old, any sentence longer than 10 years is a life sentence.

I remember when Dylan’s Mom came on You Tube and was so upset because her Son had not been found and the police had no leads. I have a gift ( if you want to call it that) to discern how someone died and who did it. I stated that this Man had committed the crime. She replied that the police had cleared him. It’s sad because it took so long for him to be charged. I don’t help people ( especially police) because I don’t like getting involved. I just wish this monster would have been arrested much sooner.

I learned this year that Utah judges don’t set the length of the sentence.
