I see him as Ange was backed for him as he is a very quick and fast defender.

Vicario is definitely an Ange signing that just happen to be align with Paratici and the club. Ange state that Vicario was in his own personal database of players prior to joining Spurs and was happy that he was also on Spurs database as well.

I think Reggie was a club signing, Doherty I remember Jose saying in a press conference that it was good to have him on the team because he stopped us from scoring a goal in the previous season against Wolves, so Mourhino wanted him.
Think previous coaches have said there was a seperate budget for players under 22 i believe. Than for the first team squad. So the likes of bale, walker, clarke (dele i think poch watched him play for mk dons against utd so he was on board) would have been club signings. Rather than for the first team.

If spurs really want to win trophies, we must sign the followings.
1) Alvarez from City and Jonathan David
2) Guler from Real Madrid
3) Nico William and Kingsley Coman
4) Leon Goretzka
5) Kimmich
6) Jonathan Tah
7) Giorgi Mamardashvili
We shouldn’t sell current attacking players apart from Richarlison even we could sign above all players. Big club need big squads with professional management team.
One thing I worry that is I am not sure Ange can manage top players to his playing style or not.

I see Maddison as a club signing. It screams out a Daniel Levy signing when at the time Leicester was going down to the championship. Daniel Levy would kill for that chance to sign him.
Maddison assisted both goals for son in the NLD at emirates in September.

I really don’t see how Ange would “push” for players like radu, vicario,vdv etc. they r not a household names, they aren’t in a team that Ange probably follows, nor have they played for Ange before. Unless ange has his own scouts how would he really know about them. I think Ben is right it’s more likely that it was given to him but he saw their quality n signed off / bought into the player. And cmon Maddison is definitely a club signing because it was pure opportunistic that Leicester was relegated.
Ange has explicitly stated that Vicario was in his personal databank prior to joining Spurs and was delighted that he was on Spurs list as well. I think A) Ange watches a lot of football as he is obsessive about the game B) he will be exposed to a lot of players via scouting network in his earlier clubs (ie at Celtic) and likely place players in his own databank to follow the career for future reference even if they aren’t realistic signing for Celtic currently.
@@Harz604 I totally agree with the Maddison signing. When Leicester went down, I knew levy would sign Maddison.
What’s disgusting about the Solomon signing is we’ve only given shahktar a 10% sell on fee. We should at least give them 30%, at the very least. Tottenham need to show more class in our transfer dealings because that is so wrong.
We didn't have to give them anything as per fifa ruling. We also gave them a pre season friendly.
If shakhtar dhould be pissed at anyone it's fifa.

@@kilipol realistically how much business are we doing with shaktar. And if we offer the money a club wants they will accept the bid clubs wont reject a bid out of spite
At a reported £20m, David would definitely be a 501 signing. He's cheap and definitely not an upgrade on Richarlson. Prem defenders will have him on toast
Theres a reason he was a 60 million pound striker before this season the only reason hes so cheap is because of his contract. He is definitely up to the level if not better than richarlison
I'll never forget 2016. Liverpool signed Mane, Chelsea signed Kante and we signed Shitssoko and the rest as they say, is history.

Ain’t no club signings coming in during Anges time. Not a chance he stands for that BS. The club can bring players across his desk but he must rubber stamp any move! This is the way it has to be.
