Just popped into to say I watched your Peter Schiff debate, well done man. I'm a gold guy and agree with Peter on it but your limitless supply of gold argument really got him. It's true, look what happened to Platinum. It is the only thing digital currency has over precious metals. You know exactly how much is made per day and how much demand is out there. With gold you're dancing in the dark. However since we've been doing it for thousands of years and it has worked just fine I see no problem with continuing it.

Great content. It's so surprising how people buy crypto and store. What then is the reason of buying without investing it and making profit?
Meanwhile making profit in crypto and forex at large requires you investing and as a beginner, you'll need an expert who would guide you while making investments because trading crypto ain't
really easy as some people might think. You might end up running losses without proper guidance and mentoring from an expert.

This is a really good introduction to bitcoin, explained in easy to understand terms and examples. Actually it would work even better as educational material if it was visualized also in a small cartoon (RSA Animate like) that boosts the ability to obtain a better overview. What happens when there is no longer a financial incentive to run the bitcoin mining software? Let's say in 100 years when the new supply can no longer be mined what happens to all the holders of bitcoin at that point? How does one perform bitcoin transactions when there are no mining participants? Will there be some sort of layer 2 solution built on top of bitcoin to perform these transactions?

I think long term we need a currency that is sensitive to productivity. So if productivity increases, the supply of money increases proportionally.
Interest rates should also be sensitive to productivity.
The world used to be based on gold, so it would be a return to a less consumption driven economy. Many would argue that is a more sustainable system

The BTC subsidy is not divided (approx every 10mins) among all miners as you mentioned, but 'given' to the miner who mined/found the next block and can create the next candidate block

Anthony, I was loving your monopoly comparison! When it came time to discuss the halving... You said every 4 years. Many people say this. But it's really every 210,000 blocks. And I was thinking that you had things set up so perfectly... that you were going to explain that every 210,000 pieces of paper they would halve the reward. Also, you were saying that the reward is divided among all the miners. I realize you were keeping things general so I'm going to let that slide but you do realize that only ONE miner receives that reward each time it is given out every 10 minutes. It is the miner that solves the hash for linking the next block to the chain. Anyway, just wanted to call you out on the "every 4 years" statement and point out that you had the paper slips example all set up. lol. Kresp.

I have business economics degree and seeing what the central banks have been doing is insane. I remember when I graduated college a long time ago my Economic Professor said buy Vanguard Index fund monthly, buy gold and silver. Today I tell my kids buy Silver, Bitcoin / Solid Altcoins, cheap housing (rental properties). I will do everything I can to teach my kids about how money works and how it is created. My kids will be much better setup for there future then I ever was. It's too complicated for me to do like day trading with cryptos, so I am just doing the dollar cost average strategy. It's boring approach but it is what it is.

Word of warning, if you go 1% bitcoin, you might end up being 50% bitcoin without even doing anything in a few years.
Conversely, if you go 50% bitcoin, you might end up being 1% bitcoin in a few months without doing anything

I've listened to this video about 5 times now as it comes up on autoplay bases on my viewing history. However, youtube likes to interrupt the video about 7 to 10 times to show me ads ranging from 5 seconds to 59 minutes long. I wish they would reduce the amount and restrict the length of ads, it wrecks the experience of listening to the show.
All the ads makes this a pain to watch 😬 I don’t mind ads, but one every other minute is simply too much.
