How good are the old weapons still in the game?
Tarans seem pretty good. Tulumbas can still be dangerous at distance but the loser of the day seems to be Orkans by far, right?

Game is lot more fun now with more complicity. Personaly i would leave game if no new content or else would be comming out. And its many people same way. How is it fun to play same bots for 5 years? Adapt is word for you to learn i guess

Yes but no one likes teh cryo because it doesn't have as much DPM as strom, corona.
They also secretly nerves the ember to make people buy redeemer, the best heavy weapon has ember or avenger depends a lot, all the pros, so many spenders have them, if you make them bad the many spenders are going to buy the new best weapons so pixonic makes many.

Im so glad you made this video I think it sucks that they nerfed the orkans was completely unnecessary. Hopefully they will see this and make some changes but tbh I'm not holding my breath.

There was a time when the Orkans were a bit too powerful. Everyone was putting it on the Spectres and Haechis and all because they killed any robot in just a few seconds no matter what shield the enemy had. Even with energy shields. But then the game changed so much and robots became so tanky that even full loads of orkan launchers would not even remotely kill the enemy anymore. And thats the time when Pix nerfed them. There was no need for that anymore I think.
Manni-Gaming you make a great point about the first nerf for orkans but the second nerf was unnecessary. Which makes me think that they nerfed it for cyro. Basically making premium version of old stuff and nerfing old stuff to promote new stuff.I’m sure if the orkans weren’t nerfed they would be almost as good as cyro.

Those were the days, now the meta changes way too quickly, I don’t mind it being complicated but it’s way too pay 2 win and you always get spammed with offers to watch ads or buy things.

There are 20 rocks, so 1 orkan with a full clip deals 40 000 damage and 4 orkans deal 160 000. This is so sad, the cryo has more amo the same reload time more damage per rocket and the frez effect, that give 35 % more damage. This so sad pixonic really makes this game pay to win, all people talk about skills, but the truth is the only thing you really need to win is money it doesn't matter if i am the most skilled player in the world if the dode i am fighting has all things maxed and only have level 8 or 9 i have already lost before that battle even begins, it is basically predetermined what's going to happen.
Half agree half dont. I agree with a large chunk of what you said, pay 2 win has become a wee bit of a problem, but its a free game, they need to make money somehow. I still think they should tone it down, i dont need 50 thousand offers and deals before i even see my hangar!
But on the other hand, quite a few p2w ive fought got there exclusively by money, not skill. If your careful you can blow them out of the water

Pixonic removed crucial information from weapon description. I presume this is used to silent nerf/buff certain builds so that it favors the meta. I've seen it with my own eyes that weapons deal more damage and have more ammo on newer robots, test it for yourself (leach and spectre) I was shocked when I saw it

Its good to read all these comments. I have been away from WR for around a year and a half or two years. Just happened on a manni video and decided to watch, was thinking man this game was alot of fun. Then also remembered that I left it because of how ridiculously expensive they made everything and how over the top they made new robots and weapons. I am not surprised to hear that they nerfed the orkans, you didn't have to pay big money for them and they were pretty good. So it sounds like naturally it was nerfed. I had a pretty good hanger and weapons. Left the Game just before the Aires and stuff came out i think. Was thinking about getting back into it but its frustrating to see that all the comments are still the same "if pixonic keeps this up alot of players are going to leave". Well its been years and people are still making them plenty of money it seems, to the point that they are making it even more ridiculously OP when new bots come along and weapons. I remember just before I left there was a boycott among all the clans to not use modules or spend money for a few weeks. Anyway I probably wont bother to download WR again i guess. If they made a game mode for only old bots I would probably play.

leech is a fragile robot without its ability. because a it can be easily killed with no problem without its ability since it reduces incoming damage,

@TheAngelofDeath5 I know ur right but the problem is glory is still a meta weapon (for me) which is basically a thunder but it bypasses energy shield and it has more shot grouping in horizon rather than having vertical shots too..
@TheAngelofDeath5 the weapons now in the game are mostly long range but still instead of using thunder people would use glory,thermite, Redeemer, avalancheetc (now glacier)
@@umarashraf2849 i think actually most used ranges in the game are between 300-500meters. 600max. Sometimes a sniper on the hill, but not as longer time before. :@)

Troll Fuente idk what you’re talkin about. Storm is a great weapon. It’s about as good as a corona, surprisingly. Halo beats gust and glory beats thunder, but storm is equal to corona (ignoring the BS lockdown rng).

It’s not that Older weapons are useless, it’s that newer weapons are ten times better
Tomayto, tomahto. The new ones being ten times better makes the old ones worthless (or at least very hard to use). I can understand sort of having tiers of robots (like the Cossack and stuff being weaker than falcon), but having tiers of weapons ruins certain combos because you can’t use a weapon because it’s super weak.

@Angus Tay true, you just need to get super close. But I do believe the storm has about equal dps to the thunder, making the thunder less of a heavy weapon and kind of demoting it to a medium one. Honestly, I love the thunder but avengers are way more useful.

They ruined the game by adding modules and lots of new robots and weapons. It's more about knowing all the complex module and AI stuff plus always spending money on the newest bots and weapons rather than skill. Just sad.

Agree, was an oj player when it first came out, my major frustration back then was people with bad strategy and no co-operation. Now I jumped back in for the 3rd time or so and the gameplay feels unbalanced and the maps don't require a balanced squad anymore

Orkan needs 150% capacity. That will make it deal 2x the damage per burst, but the reload will be longer (because of the greater capacity) to balance that.

They can still be ok if you fight robots like Pursuer or Spectre... Things that dont have massive amounts of health. But also here with Phase Shift - someone can just activate that after you have sent your entire barrage and you wasted your ammo and the enemy is invincible.

I love old orkans with 4 of them you can dominate the whole enemy team,, This Orkan nurf is too much.. Pixonic adding new weapons and Making Older weapons useless...
But why making the old good stuff useless? They don't want that game be so funny with so many combinations and high playability. They try only to make your eyes and money concentrated on theit new stuff. But this is the worst thing what can comes to all of us. :)
I think the orkans should get a buff, they need reload faster. The tarans are still strong until now.

On your tarans leech you forgot considering the 2 thermoreactors so +20% more damage , On orkan 10% more , imagine how they are weak without all of boosters
But I also had Thermo on the Orkan one and it still did so much worse.
@@ManniGaming Orkan is super weak and he has the lowest range in the game , they should release a pilot skill who make the reload 30% faster , I have spectre 4 orkans lvl 11 and i can just take down the shield of a fujiin after i'm out of ammo

Hey Manni I've found that having Punisher Ts on a Leech (which is by far the oldest weapon in the game along whith some others) is very good I personally perfer them over shotguns due to them actually being useful at all ranges once shotgrouping is equipped
Same but pulsars are also excellent. I tried igniter but it's just too much of an awkward spot between shotguns and punishers.
I remember when the biggest flex was having a fury I played in 2018 just returned and I have no idea what these new robots and weapons do
It's amazing how no one else in the world will ever have that much platinum without Pixonics help.

They should put defense mitigation on these older weapons, just like the heavy titan weapons. That should balance them out better so that they are still usable.

I use Tarans mk2 level 4 on 1 of my leeches, usually one of my top damage dealers! I do have 4 coronas but i like using 2 on the bottom and 2 igniters on top so i can deal good damage 350-0m.

The orkans had been Nerf to have less rockets and damage, that's why it is weaker now

about 2 years ago i stopped playing war robots, but recently i came back. i spent all my gold and silver to get some level 9 orkans, only to disover they had been nerfed into the ground. 2 years ago they were so good.

I’ve just started playing again and I was very good for the time but now my triple Zeus fury, kill button griffin, Lancelot with thunder and then Orkans, Leo with thunder and magnums, and then my spider guy with triple orkans (idk what it’s called)
I just made a comeback since the dash bot era to this game and how shocked i am about how weak the rocket weapon like orkan and tulumbas, my only powerfull weapon only orkan and tarans...i guess i just have to run slowly to complete all the new weapons
