NT Day celebrations kick off with a bang | ABC News

The Territory is marking its fourty-sixth year of self-government with residents legally blowing up fireworks from six until eleven pm.
The annual tradition sees thousands of dollars spent on crackers and just five hours to set off as many as possible.
But with the cost of living crisis and this year's celebration falling on a weekday we've seen slightly smaller queues than previous years.
