Rewatched Blade today for the first time since I was like 5-6 and hearing this song instantly made me pause the movie so I could find the name of it. Listening to this song literally sends me back in time and its a direct correlation of how time felt back then. The tempo of everything, life, friends, conversations, tasks, was much slower but everything flowed so smoothly and every life event felt like it was happening when it was supposed to. Now In 2023 everything feels rushed, just constantly trying to keep up with life in general because of mistakes we’ve made. I can't sleep at night because I dread the tempo that my life will be when I wake up in the morning. During the hours of 11-2am I search for music like this that reminds me of the good days, I might be rambling I'm not the best at expressing how I feel through text but if anyone feels any bit like I do while listening to this, you're not alone and we will get through this! One day we'll catch up with our lives and I promise you that we will be listening to this song again with the biggest smile on our face.
Lol I just paused it for the same reason! Ain't seen Blade since I was in high school, man shit was so much simpler in the 90s or at least it felt that way. This and the THPS soundtrack take me to a smoothed out calm place that makes me wanna hit pause on life for sec.
I’m a younger guy so I wasn’t around when these movies were released, but I have been listening to trip-hop and other creative styles of music for my whole life. I love to show appreciation to this song because it embodies the slow feeling that is happening before the villain kills the cop (and it makes you feel powerless). He’s the one you should fear kind of feeling. The Blade series has such a strong soundtrack. The sequels soundtrack is just as good with their use of Massive Attacks “I, Against I”. Mezzanine as an album is my favorite from their discography, but even being raised before the true introduction of technology I know the feeling that you’re describing. It’s an odd world that we live in. Me as a person, I have been forced to live through the vast technological developments of the last 15 years, and it’s an odd thing in and of itself. Don’t feel weird to express yourself. It’s the only thing we can do in this existence. Express the feelings or they manifest into regret.
From the 1st time I saw blade as soon as I left the movie theater I bought the soundtrack. Then it introduced me to DJ Krush. Been a fan of his since. Japan has some amazing artists to say the least! Why can't soundtracks be as good as they were in the 90s? Seems that was the best generation for soundtracks
Welcome to the Temple of DJ Krush's Vibe. Remove your aural stereotypes, adjust your solid speakers and turn the volume higher than the peak of Mountain Fuji. Truly Zen Beat.
Blade brought me here whenever I hear this song it helps me relax, feel soothing, and drink wine to this while at a party with vampires or familiars with this song playing. Blade was my childhood movie, and favorite sure does bring me back memories I love this song.
The first song I ever heard by DJ Krush, along with "Yeah". Obviously, I first heard them both on the film "Blade". I have a copy of this LP with the full artwork arriving in the mail any day now!
Everytime when I'm having a bad day such as being angry or stressed I always play this song, put headphones on, lay down, close my eyes, and smile as I descend into a different place. 😍😎💯👍😏😩
This is so chill. Been playing it since 2002. First time was at my loft in Chicago. Had the whole 5th floor as my loft. Playing it on a Saturday night while having a few follow navy chicks over.
Blade brought me here I still have it on VHS tape since my childhood this song makes me wanna have a party with Deacon Frost where I would relax, and drink wine to this. It's 2019 still jamming and relax to this "Frost throws a great party."
My own taste got me here because I watched Blade at the movies In 1998 and Instantly knew this was dope. One of the best chill vibes I've ever heard. DJ Krush put Japan on the map as far as I'm concerned. #Timeless
YOOOOOO...i have been looking for this song for 21 years!! Die hard Daywalker fan! And i never even considered you tube until 2min ago while watching blade now. LMAOOO!! GOD I LOVE THIS SONG ON LOOOOOOOP!!
When listening to this track i think of a nice evening cool breeze in March as it rains with the windows open in the apartment in NYC. Nice drum beats instrumentals to relax to.
I feel da Vibrations! the funky Sensation surges Through Me, feelin' Groovy with this Newly Discovered Brother called Krush, He Speaks so Deep without ever saying Much...

The late 90s were peak time to be a kid in the West.
Who still here 2024
Yes! Found this on the blade soundtrack
"I've been telling these bitches all about you man!""
Finally, that song from Deacon Frost's rooftop party in "Blade".
I like you're comment, it's been eight yeara but still funny.
Yeah and let's not forget those rubber duckies floating in Deacon Frost's pool.
This sounds like something I'd hear in a dream.
Out of all the times I've seen Blade I can't believe I let this tune get past me. Better late than never huh
Yup!
Too right
Laaaawd...y'all must be millennial chilluns!!
i wasnt watchin blade for the tunes homie Lol

This song still slaps after all these years. I always listen to it when I’m driving in the rain.

This is my favorite song to listen to while an angry vampire gnaws at my neck before pushing me into a pool.
Sounds…familiar.

It definitely feels like a Temple
Trip-hop masterpiece!!
Smooth, relaxing and still 100 % pure hip-hop. Today's producers need to hear tracks like this one and learn something.
I'm still learning
Trip hop*
you wrote this 11 years ago. NOW they should learn smh xD

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAA
Does that work if you kidnap the girl or just when she comes willingly?
@@theheavy2742 Willingly
Solid advice.
Lol any girl I've ever dated would be like "do you just leave shit on?"
I LOVED ALL THE BLADE MOVIES BUT THE FIRST ONE WAS THE SHIZ. NOW SMOKE A J TO THIS DOPE 90S SHIT!
Jeffery Barbee wait what part was this in
The pool scene
For most of us, Blade put us on to this tune. But living in the 90's is why we love it.
Those days were _glorious._
Nah. The 90’s brought me here. Just now finding out he put work in on Blade.
wow, much acid, such jazz
this is some deep stuff.....with a nice groove---this song was my official introduction to DJ Krush.
Same and I didn’t even know it thanks to blade
2023 and I’m still here
30 years old and a timeless sound. I actually double and triple checked my math to make sure I'm not stupid. Just old.
True story...when I was in the Army and I lead PT sometimes I would do the cooldown portion playing this song on a boombox nearby. leave it on loop
I wish my team leader would do that for PT lol
+1 Anthony Rivera
Still vibing out to this track in 2020
3 years ago was 2020, dam.
This is the most underrated track in the film industry!

Ahhh.... My 90's high and lost in Chicago searching for a party location left in a nigh incomprehensible night of directions recording soundtrack.
I like that I can envision this
a 25 year track with a cigarette on a rooftop and dig this vibe :D
