yard brah I live in the PNW too, our water is not hard that is an issue for places that pull their water out of well, we use rainfall and snow melt for our water supplies and its "soft" water
Yeah I’m gonna get a ph tester I mean it’s evident PNW has to be close to 6 to 6.5ph 😊👊🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾
The Hanna HI-9813-6N is the one I got.
Order the ph standards and "cal check" also storage solution in the little foil packs.
It tells temperature as this changes ph, they give a chart.
Also total dissolved solids or electrical conductivity in addition to ph.
Some others get dirty electrodes from humic and are useless after that.
This one has a glass electrode.

I think I might have a trick to help you stop your lawn from going dormant.🏜 If you get some long bendy thin peaces of plastic about 6 inch in depth cover it with tin foil on both sides then push it down between the curb and the soil this should deflect the heat away from the soil. But remember to push it down far enough to clear for your edge trimming . All the best great videos ⛳

I tore down the swimming pool, resurfacing the deck and my dear wife hired a landscaper to pull out old trees and put in new beds and we got hit with a drought, my lawn is a mess but I am bringing it back, this video will help.

I’m hooked on the content, I love it 👍🏻. I have about 1500 sq ft of TTTF/KBG on my front lawn that I am gonna try to mow around 2 inches and spoon feed. When you spray do you just cut the application rates in half since you are putting it down more frequently? I got the Petra HD4000 and I freaking LOVE IT🤙🏼
I go full application rates all the time when it comes to fertilizer I’m not even close to maxing out the rates per application in fact with Jesse Lawn Life and my calculations I’m not applying enough Nitrogen and can pump those numbers up a bit more 😂😂😂 my grass is crazy perfect right now though!

Yard brah , my marathon is struggling, seems like dormancy but i think i also see orangey / yellow tips ( im pretty sure its fungus) , do i need to dial back the water and risk the turf going completely dormant? As of right now im only watering about twice a week , due to watering restrictions , so im not sure how i got fungus :/ Your help would ne greatly appreciated fam 🙏🏼

Do a pull test if it lifts up easy it’s dead if it’s in the ground it’s dormant… if it’s dead power rake it up add seed cover with compost and water it a ton… if it’s dormant water it a ton and it will come back in 7 days 😊🤙🏾

i would be its more of a depth of soil issue that the manhole right beside it. might be concreate or hard pack rock in that small strip alot closer to the surface

Apparently dish soap helps with proper soil drainage as well as a good surfactant when mixed with other products so I’m testing it out 😂😂😂
As for your lawn… you could aerate and water heavy and it could come back in 15 days I just did a section and it came back so it’s possible… if you have the drive and time go for it it’s fun 😂🤙🏾

You know I usually let it dry for at least 2 days before mollycoddle or I will mollycoddle Saturday then weed killer 2 days after then a week later back at it with the weekly mollycoddle 😊👊🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

Dormant as in sleeping… grass that’s dormant is still alive just brown and just protecting itself from heat… both are brown but you can tell if the grass is dead or dormant by lightly pulling on the turf …. If it pulls out easy it’s dead if you pull and it’s rooted it’s dormant 😊🤙🏾

I did that some kelp, liquid iron & humic beside the last spots of clover which I’ll take care of right before fall overseed what a difference. PS. Hey bro I have a question if I put too much water will dilute the products and not work as effective I been using alot of the same products you been using I notice most of the time it tells me how much product per 1000 SQ FT but it doesn't tell how much gallons of water per 1000 so sometimes I feel I might be dilluting it too much
As long as your covering the entire space evenly like say 1000 sqft 4oz of product in 1 gallon is gonna have the same results as 1000 sqft 4oz in 4 gallons. Product is covering the grass! I’ve done it both ways and both yield the same results at least for me 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾👊🏾

I water in the morning for 10 minutes and around 3pm I hose down all edges real good, I day I forget to reset the timer and the grass looked kinda grayish, I was surprised it did that from just missing one day of watering, if it goes dormant your f..ked it Might take months to get it back green.
Yeah it’s so frustrating! I’m testing out syringing the lawn again heavy water in the beginning and throughout the day 3 2 min water times just to cool off the grass.. I’ll make a video eventually once I dial it down 😊🤙🏾👊🏾🙏🏾
