That was the only thing that came through my brain when Cass died “Dean Winchester is Saved” Cass was so happy to die for the one person he loved most. He died knowing he saved the one he loved. I think this was teh best ending for Cass- I’m glad he died this way and honestly I was ok that they never reunited. Because Cass died in the best way possible Saving Dean Winchester.

You did a fantastic job at highlighting that Cas was in love with Dean basically from the beginning; that they were both pining for each other, and the signs in Dean are more subtly, but there none the less. After the finale, I choose to believe that Cas and Dean will find their happy end in Heaven, so this video is very gratifying in summing up their relationship so far.

I've literally mourned this whole thing, and am still mourning it, as if someone I loved in my life died. While this is a TV show with fictional characters, I've grown up watching this show, and this right here, is a very *real* hurt.

You know, I respect the writers for making Dean’s sexuality as faithful to what he is, like let’s be real. Castiel’s love is indeed an unrequited one, but if I were to choose an ending without diverting it too much from what’s is REALLY between them? I wished Dean could had some supernatural ability to surpass Billie pr The Empty. Something powerful enough because of a deep rooted, love. I pnce read someone saying that their love is actually more than romantic or platonic. That could outsmart cosmic entities like Bille or The Empty and hopefully spare Dean the pain. Castiel is happy just for “being”. That’s more than reason enough to save him even if his love is unrequited. Dean loved him nevertheless, just not the way the fandom wanted.

You know, I respect the writers for making Dean’s sexuality as faithful to what he is, like let’s be real. Castiel’s love is indeed an unrequited one, but if I were to choose an ending without diverting it too much from what’s is REALLY between them? I wished Dean could had some supernatural ability to surpass Billie pr The Empty. Something powerful enough because of a deep rooted, love. I pnce read someone saying that their love is actually more than romantic or platonic. That could outsmart cosmic entities like Bille or The Empty and hopefully spare Dean the pain. Castiel is happy just for “being”. That’s more than reason enough to save him even if his love is unrequited. Dean loved him nevertheless, just not the way the fandom wanted.
