Congratulations for your kids. You are an absolute master and your productions are always of such an incredibly high standard.
Congratulations on the birth of your two children and welcome back to the channel. I’m looking forward to future content.
Thanks Michael!
Nice to have you back!!
Your video was very valuable to me.
I'm installing a new glass on a watch with a case very similar to the watch in your video.
I noticed that this watch of yours does not have a bezel. Is it common for watches without a bezel or is this watch missing the bezel?
I wish you much success on your channel and happiness with your children.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
congratulations my friend all the best wishes 🎉🎉
Thanks!
Nice clear instructions thankyou! I'm in need of advice, I have a citizen eagle 7 with plexiglass domed crystal that has a chapter ring pushed into the plexiglass! Would I be right in thinking the chapter ring acts as the tension ring ?
fijn dat je weer terug bent!!
Bedankt Mike! Leuk om te zien dat je er ook nog bent :-)
Great to see you back after 2 years. Where have you been?
Hello, same for me. You will notice when you watch the video :-)
@@therealwatchdoctor Congratulations and I'm glad you're back. Looking forward to your future videos.
Welcome back!
Thanks!
👍❤️
I tried doing this (with albeit a cheaper press) and it cracked the acrylic crystal. Chipped a corner off actually. Ugh. I'm going to try the claw tool shown in the beginning next.
What size should the crystal be, relative to the case opening, if using a tension ring crystal? In your example, it seems like the case maybe had a 31mm opening? So you used a 31.1mm crystal with tension ring (0.1mm oversized to generate tension), or a 31.3mm crystal without tension ring (0.3mm oversized to generate tension)? Is this correct?
Hello Doc, Can you please tell me what is that tool called which you used to fit the acrylic crystal ?
The press that you use? What is it called? The presses I see online doesn’t have the fitting that bends the plexiglass
Glad to see you back, congratulations on your family additions....
Thanks Phillip!
Very good video. However, watch crystals are made of lucite, not plexiglas
71 thumbs up
Thanks Steve :-)
You did not show the last bit fitting the glass with tension ring!
PS. While I can call myself an eye doctor I am nowhere near the standard of being called a watch doctor! For one thing I do my watch work using a Zeiss surgical microscope which works well.
