CHEF RV's SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP

SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup chopped onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup cream
225 grams cream cheese
Red cane vinegar
Pinch of nutmeg
Chili flakes, as needed
Salt and pepper, as needed
1 bottle Artichoke, drained
1 bunch basil
1 bunch spinach, or more as desired
Fresh grated parmesan cheese, as needed

Every time I visit any SM Hypermart, I make it a point to go to the cold storage section where they place all the frozen peas, carrots, corn, etc...and I always find the 500-gram bag of frozen chopped spinach and I buy that. There are also imported brands of frozen vegetables including frozen spinach in the other cold storage units there. Sometimes, it's practical to buy frozen to save time washing and chopping veggies when we're so pressed for time to cook.
