Lincoln thanks so much for the photos and immortalizing me on youtube. She gave one hell of a scrap, the bite was so savage it flattened my tripod and trying to beach it in that swell was a nightmare. With all the excitement and sprinting 50 yards on that shingle Im surprised I didnt die! Another cracking video mate see you on the beach some time.

what a releif,someone being thereself,great video,no philosophy or fish kissing,really enjoyed it,no one on their cause its been crap on their,,fish there often,dont do as well as you,dogged out mostly,took the carp rod on the boat last week several hounds good fun,more m8 love it what a releif
Hi Robin, I think the carp rod would be my “dessert island” rod for sure, so versatile, and as you say, you get such a scrap on them! Lincoln really great video well done on the hounds bullhuss & doggies done better then I did on the competition on Sunday the day b for. I started getting bites when we started I lost 2 fish on the way in bumped another & missed a bite so didn't get anything on the fish prizes but won 3 times on the raffle a box of 20 bottles of Budweiser beer a bag of fishing tackle & mustad pro fillet knife set 2 fiffletknifes a combo knife / descaler a steel sharpener & bait board happy fishing bud tight lines 👍🎣🐟🐟🐟🦈🦈🦈

Hello bud yeah apart from the showers I really enjoyed it thanks ok it started off getting a few bites then was quiet but that's fishing I think I must of had about £50 to £60 quids worth of prizes. I think 94 entered the comp was going to fish on blue anchor beach but fished on the wall instead really enjoyed the trip mate hope your fishings going well happy fishing take care tight lines bud 👍🎣🐟🐟🐟🦈🦈

Until 2006 when I moved from Southampton to the USA, they were 1 of my favourite species to for this time of year. My fishing buddy was a bait digger, so we always used pealer crab. We always fishes anywhere between Lepe and Portsmoutth, and had plenty upto about 15lbs. We always had the unmistakble sign of the rod being almost ripped from the rodrest

Howare you doing.. that 7lb ling plus 6 or 7 dogfish i had one sundays fishing session off watchet wall & the other ling i caught was another session off the wall & well I've not caught one since not even on boat trips I've had plenty of dogfish though like battersea dog home. If ever you can get out on a boat trip bud & there's ling about use an 8/0 or 10 / 0 meat hook heavy trace I use 1.3 1.5 or 1. 6 plus garden stimmer line plus crimps & the same for conger & tope. Use a whole mackerel fillet & whole squid cocktail hopefully if ling are about you'll catch one. I could even show you the spot roughly where I caught the ling as well. Always welcome buddy love watching your vids. Happy fishing tight lines mate take care oh p.s if ever you are near west bay go to one of the huts & try out theryre breakfast brunch oh wow is that ever a cheeseburger to have 😎👍🎣🐟🐟🐟🐋🐋

Great bit of fishing and great video. Went to West Bex the same day but ended up helping an old lady who had fell and was injured. My bait roasted in my tackle box so went in the bin unused, no fishing for me that day, now I know what I missed, if I were to catch that is. Well done Lincoln.👍

Trust me you won't be disappointed, I've had mine yonks so can't remember iff they come with small beads or not. They not needed but I put a small bead each end of the spring b4 i crimp. That's just they way I use em chief.

Hi John👋 I think that was my most in one session haul, the heaviest I have ever weighed from the shore is a modest 11lb a long time ago from Aberthaw in South Wales. Years ago on a charter boat out of Penarth with the late Paul Crossman I brought in a 19lb hound in a screaming spring tide, exhausted, I re-baited with crab, cast back out & immediate hooked a 21lb ‘er!! I had to sit down for 10 minutes after to recover 😂 …always appreciate the views & comments buddy😎👍👍
