After finding out that the second verse was made after him blacking out drunk and not even remembering making that verse it made me love this song even more than i already did. Such a beautiful piece ❤️

I just listened to closer 5 or 6 times. Different live versions and fan made videos. I’m a metal head all the way. These guys are special. Their music touches my fucking soul.
We all know that this song hits our hearts the minute that bass starts playing. Caleb showed a lot of heart; seems like he was close to losing his voice but still teared it up. They haven't sold out, they have different styles on different albums. Through the thick and thin. Just like Muse.
This is exactly how a song must feel like when you hear it. Any song Kings of Leon writes record perform or cover is outstanding because Caleb rips his heart off his chest and gives to the listener. It’s true, it’s passionate, he lived that, we get him and we believe it because we feel it all the way to our soul within the sound.

This song breaks my heart. As the older brother of 5 siblings, i have to provide for them. My dad passed away when I was only thirteen and since then my objectives in life is to be able to provide for my family. However, along the way, you will realize that you are missing to enjoy your own life because you have to set aside your self and prioritize the needs of your family. It is heavy responsibility and i am really tired and hopeless.
