  • Buying this new Teryx was the furthest thing on my mind. But when I learned about the "S" model, with the wider footprint and longer shock travel, I started looking. On my second visit to a dealer, there just happened to be one some one had ordered. He got tired of waiting then cancelled the order. Sales guy says" Its yours if you want it" YEP. So now comes buying all of the necessary mods and attachments and of course that long and boring break in period. That's where we begin today. Hang on tight for the slowest run ever and see what I think of the Teryx S

    Congratulations on your new Teryx! I just got one 2 months ago and am really happy with it. I’m surprised how “smooth” the ride is on rough roads. I live in the black hills of SD and this thing seems well suited to the trails here.

      Hey Mark, Thanks for watching!! You should be very happy with your new Teryx. Yep, I got mine in June and have around 1300km on it. (around 800 miles). I have the S model and it is very smooth on the rough terrain. Lots of get up n go when needed and tons of torque. Hey Mark, please subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks. Cheers.

    Well done and congratulations on the new toy... They are tough to get stuck. I have not had to use my winch in the three years I have had the four-seat version...

    Nice vid - I have been debating between a Pioneer and a Teryx. I subscribe to the 'run it like you stole' method of new machine break-in.

    Awesome video, it's too bad about people littering, our motto is, if you pack it in, pack it out. :)

    You may have to put a pillow under you to see over that windshield bar. My wife has the same problem and needs to elevate her position. Great video.

      Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I'm not sure where you are, so I bought it at Car Quest, Sussex, NB. When I saw the pic in the catalogue I said yes. I did like the operation, however the hinge is right in the middle of my line of sight. That makes it difficult to maneuver at times. If you haven't yet please consider subscribing. Thank you.

    Is there anything special that you needed to added to get a plate?

      Hi, I'm not sure if I understand the question. Regarding a plate. What plate? Licence plate?

      @@KINGSCOUNTYADVENTURES Yes. Does the plate make it "street-legal," as they say?

    • @KINGSCOUNTYADVENTURES
      @KINGSCOUNTYADVENTURES  Před rokem +2

      No. In New Brunswick, any motorized vehicle needs to be registered and have a clearly visible license plate unless it will be used exclusively on your own property. Some towns and villages in New Brunswick do allow Off Road ATV/UTV access to streets, thru the hard work of your local ATV club. To legally operate your machine in the province, you require a Quad NB trail pass, liability insurance, and a valid license plate. Some trails within the Sussex area do run legally on some back roads and even on some town streets. Now, (hoping to be expanded soon), you can park at the Atlantic Superstore and travel to as far as Walmart. Down the streets, following the signs and having the required safety gear, helmets, hand signals, and seatbelts for a side by side. Thats a lot, I think I've got it right. So, have fun and enjoy the NB trail systems!!
