- DISCLAIMER..... I'M NOT A CZcamsR. This is just a little DIY of how to change out complete mirror housing since I didn't see one on CZcams. Great alternative, and looks better than the ebay caps. Sorry for the lack of editing, covered the main stuff you need to know. They come in gloss black, I painted mine flat BLK to match window trim. And obviously wrapped the cap to color match. Any questions just ask in comments.

Very helpful! I purchased the whole replacement for my M2 and there were no instructions. Replaced them easily with your video as a guide.
Used this video to fix mine after some **** clipped my F32 (4 series) on Boxing Day whilst parked. Many thanks this video showed me how to disassemble to replace the two parts broken.
Fixed my wife’s bmw perfectly. Thank you !
I hear that Bad Bunny in the back 😎 ordering mine tonight in carbon looks Way better! Thanks subbed
Thanks really helpful video
Helpful Video! I just got mine too and was wondering what paint you used to color match the blacks?
Thanks, duplicolor x2 coverage, flat black. Tried semigloss at first but it was too shiny. Did not have to paint the housing on the car. Matched pretty well.
How did you get the clips off the actuator motor? Thanks
This video is great!!
quick question, my housing replacement comes with a smoked turn signal, will it be hard to take out my old one from my old housing?
At 2:23.and 2:38 you'll see that the signal just falls out.
torx screwdriver size 10
do you think m3/m4 mirror caps can fit on these as replacement?
Not sure. But if your buying this type it should come with all 3 pieces.
@@Nguyen2fold I have it bought. I was just hoping I didn’t have to keep buying multiple kits whenever I wanna replace a cap.
Why u not bouht just mirror cap M3 style??
I did.... Don't like the way it looked. Replacing the middle housing peice makes a difference. It flows better when you look at it from inside your car.
