Aaron Paul should be an exile from another vault colony with wired backstory but hunting for answers along same lines as Lucy with the ghoul leading them towards the super execs like his wife and daughters whereabouts.i think his daughter in show when bombs going off must have been a synth as he specifically asks his "families" whereabouts

can i just say that the deathclaw skull leading to the shot of new vegas made me feel so giddy.
I kinda think that the Elder promoted Maximus to Squire, not because he believed he was innocent of wounding his friend, but because he thought he was guilty. The guy seems to value ruthlessness over loyalty.
Honestly, I thought at first that the Elder Cleric had arranged Dane's injury himself as a test for Maximus.

New Vegas party limit will apply in season 2 which allows one human and one "animal" companion. During the first season, characters were limited to one traveling companion including Dogmeat IAW Fallout 4 party limit, but at the end Dogmeat joins the party while "We Three" plays in the background!
i hope they keep adding more of the nuances from the game, not just the items in it. like keeping the companion limit, or when one of the cast talks about a skill they have they say 'its one of my perks', etc.

They talked a lot about deathclaws in season 2. I'm sure there will be another creature or two from the games. But they will probably hold some stuff for season 3 and beyond.

None the less I was fully blown away by this show. I never played the games but knew a lil of the lore and the show really made me want to finally give em a run through. Even if it won't be about the game per say I still got to fill this Fallout itch I've got now. Love the content my guy never stop!! I do mean never.... dont do it.....

Give new vegas a try. The mechanics are ok enough, but it's nice how deep you can get into the story. Also it will 100% help with season 2.
I love fallout just because it hooks you with normal hero villan stories at first then goes completely off the rails. It's also great because most of the good guys are or were bad guys...just like real life!

I would love it if they have Danny Trejo in Season 2 of the Fallout TV series as a live action version of Raul from New Vegas as it would be really cool to see a live action version of Raul and have him be someone who helps Lucy out and tell them stories about what happened after the second battle for Hoover Dam and what happened to The Courier as well.
I would love that as well, but with how the showrunners are treating the area we probably won't see any in game characters aside from House.
I KNEW there had to be a season 2 coming. My late grandfather and I were born April 13th, and his favorite singing group is The Inkspots. I watched this show on our birthday and really enjoyed hearing The Inkspots played in several episodes. (I also love Buck Owens.) I hope they keep the good music coming in the 2nd season!

Todd in a recent interview got sad when they/he mentioned he probably has Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 in him and then be done because they take years and he is getting older. Very sad indeed🥲

Good, I know he's not responsible for character development in the TV series or they would be dead fish like FO 3 and 4. Dude, put some energy in those characters like Black Isle, Obsidian, and LlamaRCA (Companion Willow).
They have too add the mysterious stranger. Imagine some situation where they're backs are against the wall, out of luck, and suddenly the stranger saves the day, and disappears.
I was hoping to see a reference to him in this season , but it makes me more excited for the possibility in Season 2.

Things I’m interested in seeing in season 2: Hidden Valley Brotherhood vs. The chapter Maximus is from, not a full on fight but a comparison between the smaller more reclusive and possibly open minded chapter juxtaposed with the larger more aggressive chapter with the cold fusion.
Jacob’s town, Lucy has yet to encounter a super mutant and it would be interesting to see how she reacts.
Cazdors, I want audiences everywhere to understand the sheer terror that is a swarm of Cazadors appearing out of nowhere.
I believe that the east chapter brotherhood reunited with the west chapter after the events of fallout4
Im playing Fallout 3 for the first time right now. I came across Brotherhood outcasts. Wonder if that will play any part in the show. Seeing how the elder is trying to break off and start his own chapter.
The Mojave branch is stemmed from the WC BOS. They probably got re-absorbed into the ranks now that East and West is one again.

In, The House Always Wins ending, the Courier(protagonist), under Mr House's instruction, lets the Legion and the NCR bleed themselves to exhaustion, so he comes out on top.
So...after getting it's Army Decimated in a failed attempt to exert full control over the Hoover Dam, the NCR also has it's Capital Nuked. Yeah, the NCR is dead...
Also, after the Brotherhood split into Eastern and Western Chapters, and with their numbers and equipment dwindling, and brothers slowly going astray.....a Major Stronghold (now with a Cold Fusion Reactor) has decided to go Rouge. So the Brotherhood is as good as dead...
The Enclave, who Were supposed to be dead, apparently have survived and thrived in Western Canada and have developed cold fusion, so they are doing Solid.
And now with actual Vault Tech management running the show in many Vaults, probably allied with the enclave....man the West Coast is *****d.
Shady Sands was _not_ the NCR capital. At least, not any more. The billboard Lucy and Maximus were looking at referred to it as the "First Capital." The NCR was badly overextended after the Battle of Hoover Dam. That's probably why the seat of government was moved, and that move, I'd bet, is what the refugees in Vault 4 were calling the"fall" of the city on that chalkboard.
That's only with the "bad ending". Also according to Todd the NCR is still around. They had all of California, part of Oregon, and Baja under their belt.
While it is true the showrunners destroyed the Capital to reduce it back to post apocalypse the other areas of NCR are probably still semi-around and advanced.
That wasn't Western Canada. That was the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California. That was why it was snowing..
Think about it. Wilzig was on foot. That was an Enclave base on a mountain in the Sierra Nevada Mountains..
@@YugSihtTsuj May not have been the "Capital" (the Capital was basically where ever the "President" set up his headquarters, whether it was a FOB or just some retreat to escape the heat of incumbency) but having your largest population center Nuked to Oblivion, doesn't do wonders for any Civilization and especially not for centralised states.
Yes, the NCR can be rebuilt, but it will never be the same Geopolitical Greatpower faction ever again. The NCR merely existing ruined all of the Enclave's (and Vaultec's) hopes and dreams. Now they struggle to raid a single vault...
Spoilers from Fallout New Vegas. If I remember correctly, in the game Mr. House used his money and connections to learn when the bombs were being dropped an hour or so before they were. He uses this time to shoot down the majority of the bombs targeting the area around Vegas using laser cannons mounted on top of the Lucky 38 and to try to have the platinum chip delivered to him so he could upgrade his securitrons, which he fails to do before the bombs are dropped. This contradicts what we are shown in the show where it is heavily implied that the corporations were the ones who dropped the bombs. So either they made a canon error in the show or somebody else dropped the bombs before the corporations could. This actually would make sense because it seems odd that Cooper Howard's wife would allow their daughter to be out in public when she most likely knew when the bombs would drop.

It's 9 years after the events of Fallout 4. I think Todd might have said that in the interview that was clipped into this video. This first season was so damn good. I'm looking forward to many more seasons to come. Next stop New Vegas!
I hope they touch base on the shelter in New Orleans for Fallout 5. They could make the DLC as follows:

Or one of the islands in the gulf

I kinda lowkey want to see Malcolm McDowell as the Vault Tec President. I'm sure they could work in how he became the voice of the president of the Enclave or something.
I like how they kept up with the fact that the brotherhood are the bad guys in the west coast. Although the remnants in New Vegas seemed nice enough, I always made an alliance with the NCR in my playthrough.
My biggest issue with the series is that they nuked Shady Sands, but only because it was like 100+ years old and I wanted them to visit it again in the series. It's odd that it's been like almost 200 years since they opened the vaults and we've yet to have any real progress, Shady Sands is the only one I remember trying something while everywhere else is a pretty small junktown.

Thank you for actually stating that The House Always Wins ending of New Vegas is now probably canon, every other video about the series failed to mention it. It's like they do in the games where the next installment moves forward the story by picking one of the endings of the previous one as canon. Can't wait for next season, though I don't know if they'll base it only in or around New Vegas, the plot might be jumping across the Wasteland.
6:20 very close but it's confirmed in the games that the Enclave was working directly with Vault-Tech to test different things in preparation for them leaving the planet to recolonize on another planet. Every Vault was being monitored by the Enclave.

The writers definitely worked with Bethesda and made sure to clear their story. They did have to change some things because those story beats are going to be used in Fallout 5. I’m just sad it seems like we won’t get FO5 for many, many years. Love the show though!
However they messed with any chance of Obsidian doing another game in New Vegas.

True and true, from Black Isles, Tim Cain & Brian Fargo… I remember Fallout 3 was my most anticipated game and was crushed after they closed down with the game nearly finished at 90%… this was during a time when every game release was a big deal and not very often.
But honestly, I was so excited to learn that Bethesda bought the rights, cause Elder Scrolls was my 2nd fav RPG series next to Fallout so it was a dream come true…
Seriously fuck all the ppl that shit on Bethesda, no one else was doing shit with Fallout, and it would of remained dead if not for them. I appreciate what they done to evolve the series.

2026! Noooo! Lol. This show is in my opinion the best thing on TV rn. I tried shogun and couldn't get into it. The gentleman was great. This show is even better than Warrior! Everything is absolutely perfect. Characters- Walter Goggins is the man, Lucy is adorable and loveable. Even the side Characters have me drawn in. The music, the story progression, all absolutely perf. Need more!

Regarding 4:41, Todd Howard is more than just helping out the TV show. He's literally the Executive Producer of the series. Further, I think it's obvious from these interviews with Nolan that he's very much the Loremaster who's keeping conflicts from happening.
I'd get a kick out of having the Spiffing Brit referenced making sure everything is "perfectly balanced" in the system (I know he primarily deals with Skyrim, it would still be funny).

When that Gulper was attacking scientists in the lab I thought that was a deathclaw for a second. Until it showed its face.
Thinking about it I can see season two being vegas followed by season three heading to the capital wasteland around DC. Then to Boston for season four. Just to bring each of the areas up to date for that point in the timeline. They started on the west coast and just work their way east. Just a thought. I guess we will see eventually. Loved the show and hope next season has more episodes.

6:24 The show is set during 2296, the events of fallout 4 took place during 2287. New Vegas events occurred during about 2281. 15 years is a tremendous amount of time passage in the wasteland. Almost anything could have happened from hoover dam breaking down due to age, machinery malfunctions, to even possible deathclaw incursions, to who knows what. Perhaps we will find out in season two why New Vegas appears dark in the ending scene. Just because one is not at a specific location at a specific time within Fallout time does not stop moving forward.

I think its implied the institute is destroyed by the BOS being well and alive, what one can argue is that w/e version of the institute we may see can be some sort of rebuilt/remnants "that ran just in time" since they could easily teleport.
But I think, for now, they might omit them altogether, any synth that can show up is easy to explain without the institute existing so they're not really needed
yh the institute was never a great faction story wise, it'd be much better for them to focus more on other factions

219 after the bombs fell in 2077. Fallout 4 starts 210 years after 2077, in 2297.
That's how we knew it took place after the events of fallout 4. (Dates after the start of the games are hard to nail down because each player's experience is different.)

I happened to fall ill this week & was looking for some entertainment as I recovered. Fallout Season 1 was free on Amazon Prime, so I met Lucy and the world of vaults & 1950's nuclear destruction. What a well-funded, intelligent production! The level of irony is incredible as I frequently wonder when I will see nukes flying in real life today! For the last 11 years, I've literally followed Voltaire's advice in troubled times to "tend your garden". I raise coffee, fruits and vegetables on a remote acre in Hawaii. Who knows what the future will bring? Could even Lucy wander onto my property one day?
And they can also easily make a horror season of this with the Dunwich stories

My prediction for season 2 is that Cooper tracks his family down to Vault 0. I know it was ejected from the cannon but it would fit perfectly into this show. Vault 0 was where data from all the other vaults was sent in order to plan the perfect new society, which is now what Vault-tec was trying to do. Cooper's wife said she was trying to get them into a monitoring vault, which is exactly what Vault 0 is.
Cooper's daughter could be in cryostasis in there along with the Vault-tec higher ups and maybe his wife is one of those brains hooked up to the Calculator.

I think it's good that there were very few of the more dangerous denizens of the wasteland in season one. I'm sure a powerful NCR would have cleared their area of dangerous beasts. And although the NCR wouldn't have been able to patrol for quite some time, I don't think all the Deathclaws and Supermutants and the like will have migrated back into deep NCR territory yet.
Amazon did really well with this show. And giving away the games for free at the same time was awesome.
Got to admit this Fallout was the best series I’ve seen! I don’t even do series and I was hooked after the first episode! The only other series I watched was Jamestown and it was not bad

It seems pretty standard these days that any live action adaptation of a first season will only get a second season approved after the first season airs and the numbers are shown so any series would expect a 2 year gap between s1 to s2 but yearly after that for awhile.
I hadnt seem Tom Howard say that about the timeline before so im happy to hear that! Like I said before, I really do think they try to stay on track as much as possible and im happy with the work they've done!

I remember back in the day, Fallout 3 (the original one by Black Isles) was me and my best friends most anticipated game. We tracked its progress online, up until months before it’s release Black Isles had closed down with FO3 at 90% finished… The news crushed us. We never felt disappointment like this before. This was during a time when every game release was a big deal and not very often either.
But then years later, I read that Bethesda had purchased the rights to Fallout. I was ecstatic, cause Elder Scrolls was literally my 2nd fav RPG series right next to Fallout. So it was a dream come true for my friend and I. And after a decade of waiting for the game, I was not disappointed at all.
Seriously fuck all the Bethesda haters and hardcore FO purists. Fallout was dead in the water and no one was doing shit with it, until Bethesda picked it up. They put a lot work into this and I appreciate everything they’ve done to evolve and keep it alive. (Besides 76 tho).
Haters cry about glitches and bugs, but if they had half an adult brain they’d respect the fact that Open World RPG games are extremely complex and there’s a reason why no one else makes them like Bethesda. The few that do (Cyberpunk) get shit all on over the same thing. Entitled babies clogging the net make me sometimes hate to even admit I’m a gamer .
