So now you'll know he got the third position and was about to win, in fact, although finally he didn't do. My opinion is that this song is just perfect. It always gives me goosebumps and even makes me cry, no matter how many times I hear ir or watch the video, because I've seen the video thousands of times since it was released. For me, the combination of the song, with Gjon's angelic voice, the lyrics (you must check them. It makes more sense knowing what he's saying), the rhythm, that it's building up, as you said, as long as the song is keeping on, and the great images and the story created for the video are just perfection. Stunning in all senses.
I have no idea who is gonna win this? And we still have no idea what ten countries will send, including Iceland and Malta. I have like ten songs I would be okay with winning.

I quite liked 'Repondez-moi' last year, but it had a slightly studenty vibe to it somehow (although the very literal video might have a lot to do with it). This feels like it has the depth and weight to cut through all the crazy (which is essential by the way) and really touch people, and that could mean trophies. Who knows... I can't wait to see how this turns out...

Am I the only one having some Aurora vibes (amazing norwegian artist). How the melodie progresses reminds me of her. Something mysterieus and really emotional.
The building up with the percussions is indeed similar to the one in All Is Soft Inside by Aurora, it gives me the same intense feeling 😌
