It honestly wouldn’t be that hard. Truman is the only one who can’t know about it and he’s constantly monitored. As long as he’s asleep someone can be up there rigging lights in broad daylight.
Truman show would be a major human rights breach - specifically right to liberty: the right of all persons to freedom of their person - freedom of movement and freedom from arbitrary detention by others.
At first sight that I saw this movie I felt a horrible martyrdom living in a completely false world but I see that in reality, although everything is a montage, TRUMAN is a unique person in that world who lives his own life, but instead while the thousands of actors who They are only filler in that world and in people it is to be crazy to dedicate a good part of their life making a double life that is guiding those pamphlets of that false world of truman as well as both the creator of that program and his workers create the reality of only one character and I also want to mention lastly that billions of people around the world are so focused and dedicated seeing the life of only one person, who is truman although his truman life was false but he lived his own life and not as the rest of the filler actors, the creator and workers of the show and also the billions of viewers watching a whole life of just one person.
but it also makes an allegory of our real world
It's the Matrix.
it's even worse.
you got to feel for Marlon tho, all of his life babysittig Truman none of the sympathy or glory
I get goosebumps watching the opening credits.
They engineered the fear of the ocean in Truman at a young age.
Omg bob looks so young 😍🌱 ( any fans of 911 TV's show got that one ?)
During his commute to work, I feel like I could see a ton people looking at him.
This movie is extremely underrated.
"The film was a financial success, debuting to critical acclaim, and earned numerous nominations at the 71st Academy Awards, 56th Golden Globe Awards, 52nd British Academy Film Awards and 25th Saturn Awards." And it has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. HOW exactly is it underrated?
This film is so famous that if a person tells you “the craziest thing happened I feel like I am in the truman show” mostly everybody will understand
@@x01509 if you ask people what’s Jim Carrey’s best movie I promise you none of them will say it’s this
@@laurakvi my point is when people think of Jim Carey they don’t think of the Truman show
wait what? by whom?
Truman could tell everything was fake way before suspicion of his suspicion
a noble life as a deciever
Kaiser chicken lol mega zooommm
6:09 same as my father when he opened a can of beer in the other room, secretly from my mother cooking in the kitchen 🤣
Truman is the only person in the whole world who lives his own life in exchange for billions of human beings watching a boring eternal "Truman show" and also worth mentioning the extra inhabitants who are not even living their own life because they are extra actors in that world.
A college buddy in 2002 told me, "Look, I want you to watch this movie," I won't tell you what is": The Truman Show, an epiphany for me.
Imagine finding the inconsistencies of this world and being blocked or manipulated into believing in a fake script, yeah like truman did, just imagine
"It's a life" Yea but who wants to live a fake life? The Creator got a massive ego for sure.
Why is it who?
Great movie
In the end we over come everything
Big Brother was crazy af!
To the viewers Truman is real, but for Truman nothing is real.
This surreal
More real
"They're making cutbacks at the end of this month!"
But not before hiring a new woman who will immediately start flirting with Truman, the very day after his wife moves out.
Oh, it’s Peter Krause
This is hilarious
Amusing where oh where the first ad appears…. Closely followed by, “Nothing is fake.. it’s just controlled.”
The ultimate slice of life show
6:22 he's the nazi when Seinfeld is in the limo.
It’s pretty evident now that we’re all in the Truman Show.

I always wondered if his college degree was worth anything outside of show? Or what kind of education did he have? was it top notch?
AND
Also I always wondered if the marriage was real? Was the pastor a real pastor or just an actor pretending to be a pastor to marry them?
Was wondering the same thing. It must've been a college in the same place.
Pastor was just an actor.
be careful of he who watches you through the window
There are fours errors in the captions provided in this video. Can you identify them?
please take longer for each title screen I would love that
One whole minute of NOTHING at the end? You left me hanging like a wet, soft... noodle.
🤣🤣🤣
2:44 You had one job..
Imagine if the dogs were also actors and their aware of what’s going on
5:05 Truman Burbank= True man, burn bank lol
6:07 Only Jim Carrey could make tearing a page out of a magazine so hilarious.
Our world...
Meryl: “The Truman Show is a truly blessed life.”
Me: 🙂😅😂🤣😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🥲
its the critters 2 set...
bradley brown is back in town, the boy who called critter
I swear to god the same thing with the rain was happening to me a decade or so ago.
Not like in the scene that the rain follows me everywhere but its started very heavy only on the point where I was standing like a 2x2 meter wide circle and I was able to step out of it.
Outside it was all dry and not only one raindrop was falling there like wtf is happening here?
But after a vew seconds later it begins to rain everywhere around me.
I never think of this surreal event again and I told it no one but years after I see this movie it was like omg how strange.😱
But iam really shure iam not in a real life TV show because my life is too boring to be one. 😂
Now this is big brother
the shot at 9:39 is so damn good
they traumatised him as a child to prevent his wants to travel as an adult. thats fucked up
A dystopian fantasy about reality tv before it existed. Today, this concept is absolutely ridiculous but its still a fun movie.
"...it's a life"
so naturally that means let's essentially imprison him, control or manipulate damn near every single aspect of his life, put it all on live TV without his knowing and expect him to just be ok with all of it when he figures it out
This is better than the movie
I never observed the cameras hidden in the gate posts at 3:02 when I saw the movie.
Although boring to watch, imagine how incredibly safe and secure it would be to live there.
the victim can't receive an award. how would that look to the sheeple?
