- The Way of the Wasabi is not safe for all. Balance must be achieved between the chopsticks and the rice. Then, the brave warrior must battle many sushi rolls. It takes many decades to develop the skill needed to place the chopsticks in the correct part of the hair. My masterful energy achieved what moat mortals take 30 years to learn in mere seconds because my bravery is legendary in all of Asialand.
I learned this method from an Asian warrior. I had to climb a mountain top with steep stairs and water buckets on my shoulders every morning. Then I tried to eat rice and he beat me if I used my hands. Finally, I was ready for the way of the Wasabi.
I'm pretty much 3rd degree black belt in Wasabi at this point.
I agree with the 3rd degree blackbelt, but more like bushido.. if asked its the style of BSing
@@robzombieshot Bushido is Asian for "cow"
@@MattsCrazyArt lol. . "Snicker " ok.. You know it sounds 1 way but did you look it up? Take a look..
@@MattsCrazyArt... definition. the code of honor and morals developed by the Japanese samurai.
@@MattsCrazyArt Ok.. i didnt want everyone to think I'm not joking around or you.. oh hell, I dont care .. lol.. . BULLSHITTO
Little secret - I never did this before. The video was the first time. So, I learned some thangs with you.
Wow I made one! I'm excited to make more. Thanks
Well u made it look easy.
Big grins just bought some copper to try this thank you. These sticks is how I keep my hair up. Other wise I close it in a car door again. Doors are not my friends 😂
@@mistydawn2717 maybe if you tried talking to doors you could make friends.
@@MattsCrazyArt lol does kicking and screaming count 😂💜✌
@@mistydawn2717 yes
i really Loved ur free form chaotic wire beads..........totally gorgeous............love making wire beads myself.............exceptional work....hugsss
As a woman with long hair who sometimes uses mei fa sticks in my hair, the narrow ends need to be whittled and sanded to a point-not a sharp point, but a point. Sanding the entire length before painting or staining would be a good idea.
Wasabi
@@MattsCrazyArt Wasabi Wasabi
Pretty hairpins & beads tutorial, so pretty! Thank you so much for sharing.
Very nice! All of your models are so cute too!
This is so gorgeous and unique! Wow!🤩🌺🤩🌺🤩🌺🤩🌺🤩
Was just thinking 'where's my daily Matt fix' 🤗❤️
You can get an entire package of stained chopsticks at Dollar tree
So you're saying the Wasabi warrior lied to me?
Metal skewers work great too ..🥰for beads...
I watched this video a while a go,
and made a few of these hair pins,
gold, silver wire wrapped and still wear them in my hair
Matt,
Your technique and design is very organic. Love it! Have you considered drilling a hole in the chopstick with a Dremel the size of your wire gauge? Or do you think the wood is not strong enough and will split? Oriental markets usually have inexpensive, plain chopsticks in colors that may be stiffer and have a pointier end for hair sticks. Why not add some gorgeous beads to enhance beauty? You could sand the square chopstick to a round shape to make it easier to slide the wire bead off. 💖🌹💍💎
Yeah, you can find shinier, stronger chopsticks.
These are cheap and fragile, made for one time eating.
@@MattsCrazyArt Yes, I have had my fair share of splinters from the cheap ones! 💖🌷💍💎
I need to make some of the hair pins! When I cant find a ponytail holder i just grab a pencil and wrap my hair around it. So these will come in handy! I love these!
Loving the chaos beads as well! 😊
Thank you so very much for the entertainment and new ideas. I love the outa the box approach to wire wrapping. I was getting board with my too traditional stuff. I will now practice imperfection to develop the “crazy” technique.😜💥🐒🎏😍
I love your chop sticks idea. I use 10 gauge wire and hammer the base. But of course you can imagine how hard it is to free style with that thick of a gauge. I’m gonna do the chop sticks and see how it comes out. Thanks for you ideas and the time you take to share. I love your work keep up the sharing.
10 gauge copper or aluminum?
Copper and aluminum but you know the copper is more harder.
@@Marysearthsong 10 gauge copper is basically an almost unbendable rod.
10 gauge aluminum is like putty, very bendable.
You could use the 10 gauge copper as the chopstick part and wrap the aluminum around it.
I’m gonna try your chop sticks idea. Thank you
The bead are awesome! I would’ve never thought of that! Thanks again Matt! SCORE!!
Try shishkabob sticks. They come in a few different sizes and shapes - and are dirt cheap!!! Plus, you get a TON of them per pack! I have been using them for years for my polymer beads and yard picks.
A small Phillips screw driver would work too. Add a little glue on the tip to keep from poking yourself.
Tyfs❤
Cute idea with the chopsticks. Might have to try it myself!!
Chopsticks! Wasabi? Do you like warm wine and raw fish? How you must suffer for your Art!!
So pretty. Such good ideas !! I have a coil maker. I made the coils into ear rings. Never thought to add swirled to them. Thanks for the cool ideas
So truthful your reaction to the wasabi!!! Hahaha!!! Beautiful work always. Thank you from Ecuador.
These are really fantastic.
Just so happens I have a drawer full of chopsticks....we always grab extras when we eat out, you know, just in case we ever need chopsticks. Well...looky here!! Gonna use up them there chopsticks!! Woot woot!!
thanks Matt.your always encouraging and inspiring.
You are so creative. Your videos have given me the encouragement I needed to try making my wire and stone necklaces again.
Use knitting needles for wrapping the beads😉
Omg, the beginning with the wasabi had me cracking up!😃😃😃😃 Thanks Matt for the awesome video!💗💗💗💗
Cool! Great staining tip - super clever! I am going to drive to Asia to pick up my chopsticks.
Jane, great choice. Always drive. Boats are super unpredictable.
Hi Matt, Have you considered adding small stones or crystals onto your wire? I make a bead, simular to yours. I add 4mm crystals, beads and an occasional tiny charm bead, i.e. 4mm or 6mm metal flat flower. Just a thought. I truly enjoy your videos.
Omg that Sushi looked so good 😳 you are so brave to eat it with that much wasabi Lol. Thanks for your awesome tutorials. I have so much fun learning along!
Thank you, I recovered very quickly, only 4 1/2 hours. The way of Wasabi Warriors is both mystery and surprise.
@@MattsCrazyArt 🤣🤣🤣
Just a thought...in lieu of a bead reamer you can use an ice pick. And in either case, you can put a small cork on the pointy end, or cut up a plastic eraser and stick a cube of that on the pointy end.
The end of the chop stick should be shaved down a bit more so it will slide in more easily. I do a lot of sanding on mine so it's very smooth and doesn't snag your hair. I also always finish with a coat of spray varnish so it will glide through hair smoothly.
Showoff.
love these could use a knitting needle too
Yup!
STRANGEST DUDE #6 .
With the Chopsticks and you speaking Asian and all.
Makes you so Asian your round eyes are barely noticeable.
And yay, hair pins.
Coolest hairpins(Asian accent) ever witnessed live.
You are awesome
LOL!!
Just buy a few sponge brushes for painting and staining..... then throw them away😉
(I really thought the wasabi fumes were going to shoot out of your nose!😄)
That's the way Asian Dragons prepare to blow fire from their noses!😉 Wasabi with Ginger hat!🤣
😁😘
Awesome. I've gotten chop sticks at the Chinese food orders. Have you ever thought of using skewer sticks for these? These would make awesome Christmas presents for the girls in my life
I love all of your creations. You're very talented. Still waiting to hear from you
What do you want to hear?
@@MattsCrazyArt about buying a Baker dozen of your rings. You told me to look for you on it since I dont have Facebook
Knitting needle would be great for the wire beads
On bare wood Matt, coffee is a good stain. I know it means giving up your coffee for a project.... but you can do it... We believe in you.....
And dont put your hands in your eyes when eating Wassabi....
OH NO on the Leopard..... what if he clawed through the closet door???? Does he really want to eat you or just have you tickle his tummy?
LOVE LOVE LOVE the second Green one with loads of swirlies..... I used to use fencing wire in my hair, forget it was there and go to doctors appointments with that in my hair and my feral crocs on my feet stinking of horse poop OOPS.....
3rd hair pin is spectacular.
Bead Reemer? How goes a phillips head screwdriver? lol They all look great Matt -- Im thinking some wire beads may be in my future with left overs.
I need some wasabi and ginger today! Both good for the sinus & stomach!
Wasabee?!
to display them get a terracotta rectangle planter tall enough to place them standing in sand with tumbled stones then stick in the sand
"This swirl does not believe in the low carb diet" hahahaha!
Hiya Matt. By chance, your video appeared in my home feed here on YT. I'm now hooked on your videos. Wonderful instruction with humor and fun😁 Thank you so very much👏👏
Btw, the Asians i know mix the wasabi in the soy sauce then you dip the sushi and sashimi in it. Every bite gets everything even. Lol. Only Americans do what you did.
The mixing thing is just pretty much what they tell non Asians who have not earned their trust.
Once you are worthy of the Wasabi, the Asian Sensei will show you the way of the ginger hat.
@@MattsCrazyArt lol... creative thinking... I bet you mom beat you senseless with a switch, from a pee pee fern.
Matt. I don't know if this helps at all but I use the metal knitting needles for making wire beads. I bought a whole set because they come in all different sizes. You can find them very affordably at Walmart or lots of times 2nd hand stores and thrift shops.😁
Great idea
as a martial artist ...I would use this in bar fight ....just saying... wonder if I could add a throwing star ....
Really nice hair pieces. 💕💕💕 Im getting hooked on it.
Love ur humor and its awesome to put a face to the voice!! I do make these but I'm using polymer clay and stone on the end. I'm looking forward to trying this 💜✌ your friend in Oklahoma!!
Very pretty.
Very very cute. I will try that idea and my hair that I have left lol is almost long enough to use those. I have hair picks made out of brass or something like that I got many many years ago at an art fair down town. Love it. K
Beautiful!😻 Love the hair sticks!
A little secret if you have a H Mart near you, you can buy them by the 100s. Also, you eat the ginger first before eating raw fish. It's supposed to have antibiotic properties .
These came out Awesome!
I love your necklace. Can you do a tutorial on how to make it? I am searching for ideas on men's jewelry. Thanks!

You're Hilarious!.🤗 Matt I wear chop sticks in my hair in the summer time, never thought about decorating them with wire there not the wooden ones though. I make paper beads I could use those to decorate my chops sticks along with the wire. Awesome Idea!!🥀Thank You. So glad I found your channel. I'll stop stalking you now!😏
Rosebud, LOL I know what you mean about stalking. I binge watch these videos and have a lot of comments, after I feel like I'm going to be seen as a stalker too.
Omg lmfaoo I can't believe you ate all that Wasabi
You are sooo much fun, also super helpful!
Love watching you work 😍 the first red one reminds me of a treble clef x
Definitely have to be cautious of those big cats. Thank God you had your ninja sticks. Glad your ok. Great work on those hair pins. Thanks for sharing!
Lmao! You’re a scream.... 😂 so love your sense of humor!
I am Laughing especially over the Lunch you ate !! I knew you were going to choke or something that Green stuff will get you all the time . I was hysterical !!!
Hola no te entiendo casi nada pero lo q estas comiendo si como te sentiste me haces mucho reír. Gracias x compartir espero me entiendas y saber si me entiendes tu.
Making beads, nice. =)
I love wasabi and ginger too!
I was crying with you when you ate all that wasabi! My son did a very similar thing at a Thai restaurant.. you two are very much alike. Great idea with making wire wrap beads. Really fun!
What fun!. I thought if I told you That I was rushing to watch you work. I can imagine you saying~ You know its pretty cold in Russia this time of year-You have a way with words. Amazing...
In Mother Russia, you don't make jewelry. Jewelry make you!
Beautiful !!!!!!
And we get chop sticks free at the grocery store. They are offered near salad and soup bars etc. Free
That sounds a lot less challenging
okay so when eating shushi u eat the pickled ginger first it is used a palate cleanser u apply a little wasabi on the shushi not alot it's bad for ur stomach especially if u can't handle spicy food
ohhhh I LOVE these hair sticks. Going to try this on big fat knitting needles. They are very light weight metal. My hair is fine so need as light weight as possible. Thanks for this. Hope to try it today.
U inspire me so much
I was waiting for the moment when your eyeballs fell out and rolled around on the floor :) Such cute ideas
Great idea! You’ve inspired me to wrap my pens so people quit stealing them! Haha
Hi Matt! Wow! I made one it looks great. How can I send a picture to you?
Go to facebook, search "Matt's Crazy Art" and find NOT the page with the green stone but the GROUP with the guitar painting and ask to join and you can post anything you like there.
Keep wraps tight and avoid dangles, it will catch your hair. Learned the hard way. I love doing the sexy librarian , pull out the stick, shake out the hair and remove glasses. OK, so, I'm old and fat, let me pretend already.
I wish you would have added beads
Next time you work with something sharp push an eraser on the end
😨 IS THAT BLOOD ON YOUR FINGERS FROM USING THEM INSTEAD OF PLIERS?🤤😲
OMG YOU ARE CRAZY LOL hahahahaha!!! I love sushi too.. extra Wasabi? Hmmm not so sure about that, but now I have to give it a try ♥ Do you happen to have the number to leopard control? Just saying LOL Thanks!
I had it on speed dial but my new phone lost most of my contacts.
It should be under the directory of "Large Cat Home Pest Control"
The honourable chop sticks? I was wondering how long the wasabi was going to take to kick in!! Not long! So I guess that's why you're crazy Matt. Cheers!
You can probably order chopsticks from Amazon.
Wasabi
This swirl does not believe in the lo-carb diet either!!!
im digging you with
hair!
Leopard blood, he will eat me before anyone gets there.
Lovely
I can not stop laughing with your wadabi bite. Kuajajajaaa!!The warrior almost fall. Jaaajaa.
The warrior endures the wasabi with great travail but the experience makes him stronger
Colll
Do you every hammer the wire to harden or add texture??
Almost never but I've done it in the past
You be careful!!!
I found a packet of chop sticks in the utensil isle of Walmart. Look around the wooden stuff like shish kabob skewers. I believe there were 24 for $2.99. Already cut apart. :) P.S. A Phillip's Screwdriver might work better for coiling.
❤️❤️❤️
i have that exact bead reamer whats up with that...smooth
This was some Matt weird! I like it! I love it! I want some more of it! Lol
All the people in the continent of Asia: *eyeroll* bevakooph
Doesn’t the paint spray come off in hair if it’s hot outside or rainy ?
No, spray paint turns into a permanent solid, like enamel
