genuinely went "FUCK YEAH!" when I saw the thumbnail on my sub tab, this series rocks. I feel like this format is being slept on and we'll soon see it everywhere with all types of TCGs, it shows draft and building skills, adds some randomness for spice and still rewards skillful play

He likely thought that it stopped with GX era, while Ronintoadin came out in 5Ds era. As much as I LOVE this concept, man these duels were unbalanced. Dzeeff played basically GX era Frog Monarchs MBT: hey that's really neat, anyway normal summon Vyon send Shadow Mist Either Dzeeff got really unlucky, or the HERO cards are just stacked as fuck. Still really funny to see these games play out.
Yup. If an effect has a limited amount of uses per turn and the activation gets negated, then you sitll haven't ticked down the count. However if it's activated and the *effect* is negated, then it was sitll activated. It all depends on what the card says. LaDD says negate the activation, not negate the effect.
It's nice to have a longer video once in a while. They are great for both sleeping and gaming with the video in the background. Duel Logs was making even 4 hour long ones for sleeping (different kind of content, but still)

Joseph was using prisma so wrong. He has to reveal a fusion then send a named material for it. It was funny to see him use it as a free hero foolish burial though
I do like how MBT tries to bring LADD into a duel vs Doug when Doug has a deck master that can just straight up invalidate it, which for some reason Doug just didnt do and instead used his frogs (which were notorious for outing LADD via Treeborn).

The tell for me was, at the 30 sec mark, CC used the Spheal color bars interrupt, which they also do for many of Doug’s videos that they edit.

As powerful as MBT ended up being this episode, it's pretty catastrophic how only 2, or 3 fusions among all 15 in his hero deck were ever usable.

For what it's worth, if you chain Book to Soul Exchange it still lets you tribute, but if you Book on resolution, Soul Exchange stops applying
