I've just bought one and to replace can you believe it a petrol noisy stihl hs 45 and bizarrely this lidl parkside isn't far off its performance crazy value for money these are and oh so nice and quiet awesome to not have to be deafened by a bloody petrol trimmer 💯👊
How long does the battery last
@@adrianoconnor9853 well I used it other day on a bloody hawthorn hedge which as you probably know are hard pigs to trim and it took me like a hour ish to cut it all and the battery surprisingly didn't die on me ,again iam taken by surprise with these cheap makes of equipment.
And the best bit is you just slap a battery in and pull the trigger and it works no stupid carbs getting clogged, no fuel, no oil, and best of all you can hear you're self think while using it.

Good morning! Thank you for your video, can you give me a little help? By any chance do you know how much does this 2A lasts? Duration while in use? I bought the hedge-trimmer from parkside and the lawnmower (the simple one), both are for really easy use, i dont have much hedges on my garden so i was trying to know how much is the duration of the 2A batteries while in use. Thank you in advance
Read the manual, there is a diagram telling you of expected duration...
get the 4ah 20v battery
Did you try using it with 2Ah? Is it strong enough?

Only difference is the battery capacity, the power is identical with both 2Ah & 4Ah
@@justinholding02 That's not quite true. With any cordless tool, a battery with a higher capacity (eg a 4AH versus a 2AH) will not only give longer running time but a little bit more power too. This is especially so with tools like Drills.

@@justinholding02 Of course capacity and power are two different things. Where you would notice a difference is if you were to cut a dense hedge with thicker branches, (approaching the limits of the machine) and the trimmer will cope better & is less likely to jam using a 4AH battery than with a 2AH. Do your research!...Using a battery with double the Amp Hours can give a significant power increase in a range of tools, most noticeable when using the tool to it's limits.
