Some Disney direct-to-video animated films like this one used traditional cels, it started with The Return of Jafar. It didn't use digital ink & paint until 1997 with the release of Beauty & The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, & the last one to use traditional cel animation was The Hunchback of Notre Dame II in 2002.
The Little Mermaid 2, Beauty and the Beast the Enchanted Christmas, The Return Of Jafar, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, The Lion King 2, The Lion King 3, Peter Pan Return to Neverland, and The Jungle Book 2 are my favorite Disney sequels.
I love this movie I used to watch this tape a lot as a kid

When i was 8 years old my mom brought us a Aladdin and the king of theives and i watched it on k-mart with my mom and my grandmother when shopping and august 1996 i got no TV in my room because my father yelled at them.

I had a Oliver and company tape hidden the boxes.
I had this VHS a long time ago in the mid 1990S. 0:29 I did watch this preview, but there was 1 problem. I was 3 to 4 years old in 1996 & I wasn’t paying any attention about it. Because I was familiar with… 0:34 The classic animated version, but I was too young to understand… 0:46 Remake versions. Or because that didn’t have 0:50 talking animal characters like the original treasured animated version. I did however see the sequel version a few years later. 1:38 But I would give a thing for this Disney Remake to return to Movie Theaters for a limited time so I can make up for lost time. I sometimes feel bad for overlooking most things from my good old childhood times AKA the good old days.

(The front door opens to reveal Scud, who lunges straight for the backpack, barking)
Sid Phillips: Whoa, Scud! Hey, boy! Sit! Good boy! (the dog begrudgingly obeys) Hey, I got something for you, boy! (Sid's hand reaches into the backpack and grabs the alien out of the backpack, then placed it sideways along Scud's snout) Ready, set, now! (In one quick motion, Scud flips the alien up, catches it in his mouth, and rabidly shakes it back and forth and Wade holds Zeke as they react in horror) Hannah! Hey, Hannah!
(Zeke and Wade glance up to see Hannah, Sid's frail little sister, carrying her Janie Doll)
Hannah: What?
Sid Phillips: Did I get my package in the mail?
Hannah: I don't know.
Sid Phillips: What do you mean you don't know?
Hannah: (insistent) I don't know!
Sid Phillips: (mock concern) Oh, no, Hannah! Look, Janie!
(grabs the doll)
Hannah: What? Hey!
Sid Phillips: She's sick!
Hannah: (panic rising) No, she's not!
Sid Phillips: I'll have to perform one of my operations!
(bolts upstairs with Hannah in pursuit)
Hannah: No!
Zeke: No, not Sid's room! Not there!
Hannah: (offscreen while chasing Sid racing to his bedroom door) Sid! Give her back! Sid! Sid!
(Sid charges into the room and slams the door in his sister's face and carelessly tosses the backpack on the bed and walks over to a makeshift workbench)
Sid Phillips: Oh, no, we have a sick patient here, nurse. Prepare the or, stat! (clicks on a bare bulb dangling above his "operating table" while Zeke and Wade look on from the safety of the backpack as Sid places the Janie doll's head in a vise) Patient is prepped. No one's ever attempted a double bypass brain transplant before. (Sid grabs a painter's mask from his toolchest and dons it like a surgeon's mask and grabs a toy pterodactyl from a nearby crate full of junk) Now for the tricky part "pliers"!
Wade: I don't believe that man's ever been to medical school.
(Sid struggles for a moment with his "patient" then stops)
Sid Phillips: Doctor, you've done it! (running to the door) Hannah! (opens the door, where Hannah is standing there, looking worried) Janie's all better now.
(hands her Janie "her head has been replaced with a pterodactyl's")
Hannah: (screaming at the sight of the monstrosity and bolts down the hallway) Mom! Mom!

The actress for the villain for the 101 Dalmatians live action was way too much for me as a kid and I felt too haunted by it after that😰
