So it'd be the 1 on the Green first followed by the 7 on the Red followed by the 9 on the yellow and then the 4 in the green last. It'll still be 4-1-7-9, but the way you input them matters. Similarly, explaining why "254": In the book, you count the number of animals on each page and multiply them by the number in the corner of that page and then add those final multiplied numbers all together. Not really, no! Stray Cat Doors 1 does not really have as many story moments. It also is more Escape Room-esque. I would say the main thing is it gives you an idea of the characters you see in the second game, but you can definitely play Stray Cat Doors 2 without playing 1. 1 is a lot shorter though so if you did want to, it wouldn't take too long.

okay i got the answer thru google (AND GODDAMMN THEY'RE REALLY HARD TO READ) 15235 comes from the flower pots where you can shuffle them. Look at the shadow they make at the water. BUT focus on the water not the shade/shadow. IT spells out as 15235... RIGHT IT"S DAMN HILARIOUS. The chest thing is the colored flower pot arrangement, and you'll be damned if you're also colorblind hahahaha (yeah I didn't get the colors but google said they're blue, purple, red, and yellow. also the number @10:10 damn is that 11 so 11+28+69=108, I thought it was a footprint.

If you look at the Dessert Trays, there's a plate for each color with cookies shaped like the shapes on the plate. Pick up the cookie shape that was in the right color on the tray it was on and there will be a number in it telling you the order to press the buttons in.
