  • We had a 2007 GMC Envoy in the shop last week. After 45 minutes or so of running it would shut off and not restart till the next day in most cases. It was setting a long list of fault codes. It was a problem car from another shop. Stay till the end and see the failure.

Hi Ron, have loved you show for more than 25 years when you were back on WOR Am radio. Lost track of you, You not only taught me to be better at fixing car problems but more important taught me to be a better customer! Love so many of the expressions you use like " hold the phone up to the car so I can see what it looks like"...well now you can do that but always made me smile...and "Not the biggest cat that wins the fight but the cat with biggest fight" I was fixing a oil burner just yesterday and it was kicked my butt and said well I know I am smarter than the oil burner and found multiple problems and fixed it..... Can you post a places that you still do shows from I miss following you and want to have your wisdom and experience back in my life. We have spoken a few times when I called in over the years, I stopped going to SEMA show in Vegas and hoped to meet you in person back in the day...I want to get your auto graph on my copy of the book beat the cops ( I called in about my DeLorean ticket when you had Author Mr. Carol on that day).

The easiest way to listen to the radio show is by podcast. Just Google "Ron Ananian Podcast". It will pull up from a variety of sources. You can choose the one from iHeart as that is the main one. We also "air" the show when live Saturdays 2-4PM on the Facebook page, Ron Ananian, The Car Dr. Last, there may or may not be an affiliate which carries the live over the air show near where you live but you can search your local stations; The live show becomes the podcast after the fact. Thanks for the interest and kind words. R

don't know how much a fuse box is, but if it was terribly expensive a jumper wire would of fixed it on the fuse box and saved customer money for now, but long term best to replace as you did! Thanks for showing us, keep doing some videos in the future as time allows.

Ken. Fuse Box was $300. Wouldn't matter. The way that box comes apart requires drilling out some fastener inserts; one way, one time trip. Now its done. Can't be reassembled for use. Fix it right. Change the part and avoid future problems. There are enough hacks in this business doing it wrong. Thanks for the interest.
