I cannot believe how you have done that so simple no marking or leaving 12” to lay up one side and laying the other on to and sewing at a 45. Where have you been lol. That’s so simple my gosh ! I’m finishing a baby quilt and today I didn’t cut thank god but I had to try 2x to get my fabric right ! I’m always amazed by your vids ! I’ve learned so much from you. I love watching your tips but with this one aren't you wasting a lot of binding ?? Why not just match sides and sew a straight line?? No cutting and just press down??

This didn't work for my quilt. I realized after it's because your binding isn't folded in half first. What are you making? I'm guessing it's not a quilt. :D

если у вас уже есть длинная лента для обвязки, но она не обрезана до нужной длины, это простой способ соединить ее в конце. Большое спасибо за просмотр😊

when you join a straight line, it creates more bulk with folded over as all the seam allowance is in same place. This is a very simple method

Is it necessary to cut off that much fabric.. the part that you overlayed the fabric on top?
Yes as you need to overlap the same measurement as the width of your binding to create a 45 degree join.

This method will work for any binding that you are piecing together. You just need to unfold first for quilt binding.
А зачем надо было отрезать верхний кусочек, когда его край ровный можно было приложить к треугольнику , тем заморочней, тем интересней!🤷♀️

Это простой способ рассчитать, где обрезать конец ремешка, не измеряя, и выполнить скошенный шов.
