Here is an advice from a European working in Germany. Learn. The. Language. This video, even though nicely made and with good intentions is not going to help any of you looking to work and live here. Sure, you might land a job on english. But without German you will always be on the sideline in the company. You will not be a part of their group. You will not be invited to gatherings outside of work. You will hardly actually become friends with them. And therefore you will not create the most optimal environment for you to progress in the company. You will never be given the most important tasks and you will most probably stay on the bottom. Sure you will now think of a counter-example as those surely exist. But I am talking in general. In the end, what does your lack of will to learn the language of the country you are living in say about you? That you are not able to get out of your comfort zone when tackling difficulties. And who wants to hire a person like that? On top of that, since you guys are coming from a very different culture, integration is anyhow a problem. Do not make it harder for you by not knowing the language. So start learning it, it is not as hard as it might come across.

I almost imagined I can too and I believe it will be easy given my skillsets. But when I actually started visualising myself there, there ran a chill down the spine of loneliness.Leaving my family behind for no reason for them to feel a void. Then actually being in a foreign country without friends. I will assume that colleagues can't be friends. Not sure if Pankaj or any other guy gave this thought or will like to know their views on how emotionally satisfied they're. Worthy to mention the dates/partner

Most Non English West Europeans can speak English, especially the younger population. It's not like China,Russia,Japan where even the younger generations do not speak English atall or can speak only a little bit of English.
Even in India all formal communication in an IT company takes place in English.
Knowing Computer languages should be enough for an IT job in Germany.
