Blue and Yellow Traditional Stained Glass Bee Window Making

- 'Winging' its way out the workshop 🐝😂. Everyone's favourite insect and definitely one of my favourite projects. I've just completed this gorgeous traditionally made stained glass bee window! This little bee panel will be fitted as a transom window above my clients front door.

I haven't actually fitted a window in years! All my work is workshop based as I'm always super busy working from one project to the next 🫶

I love the light and turquoise blue and periwinkle colors in this. It gives it a little oomph.
I'd love to see some sunshine behind it if it ever stops raining 😂

I use a home made recipe. If you give 'leaded light window cement recipe' a Google search its pretty much the same as the first thing that pops up 👏

Google search for Don Carlos lead knife buddy, i've worn through 4 or 5 over the years. Great tool! 💜

Hey what glass cutter do you use?
It's a Silberschnitt model but they stopped making them many years ago
Do you mix your own cement? I have putty right now and am not a fan. lol
I absolutely hate cementing 😂😂 I've done it thousands of times and it's not much fun! I do mix my own cement but it's a very similar recipe to the ones you can find with a Google search for 'leaded light window cement recipe' 🫶💜🩵
