lisa I think he doesn’t understand the difference between liking a song and what’s commercially viable. This is one of their most accessible songs and will do well Bc of the time of year. If they’d put this out in the summer or something, it’d be a whole different story!

This song for me is the best that twice has done. Some may not agree and say it sounds too familiar, but I honestly enjoyed this song better than TT, Signal and even Likey.
Maybe it was the drums/ bass? Who knows, but I was rocking to this song on the first go and I was like “Woah sounds cool!” when it took me 3 listens for Likey and Signal to bop to.

I'm an Once, and I agree with you. In my opinion, so far this is my most favorite TWICE song. This song suits my style more than their previous releases. I already fell in love after they release the first teaser because the chorus is catchy af and I love how this song gave me such happy feeling. I think it is the guitar strum (?) that really add the happy feeling to the song.

Lol I'm one of Twice's fangirl and proudly stand that I've never stan any girl group like this hard tho.. I mean Twice is the only girl group who does a lot of cutesy stuff but it doesn't make me cringe at all.. One more thing we Once accept every comment or criticism that have maturity on it not the type of comment who think Twice should change their concept to a sexy one and so on like please talent or music isn't bout sexyness or something that looks or sounds cool it's something that can make us happy and feel better while listening to it..

ThickStick Exactly. When I think sexy I think Sistar, Spica or Stellar. Twice should be doing nothing of the sort, at least in these current times. Hell not even snsd has really done a completely sexy concept. Girl crush would be a nice and different side to them (glimpses in LOA) but what's the rush? I don't want it to be forced plus they're only 2 years old. Snsd weren't making songs like The Boys and I got a boy well into their 4th/6th year. The current formula is working so why stray away from that so soon right?

Twice is best in delivering songs in the colour pop genre and this song is it. It's extremely catchy to the point that the chorus of YOU ARE MY HEART SHAKER SHAKER makes me wanna stand up and shake. I don't feel the song is flat, its chorus has a good hook it gives a good upbeat feel . If it was released by some other artist people would be loving it for the song alone, since TWICE is releasing it people are sprouting complaints. TWICE aren't musical artists, so I don't expect them to bring challenging musical concepts and styles. I'm not even a fan (I just check their title songs) but I like this song alot because I'm gonna want to hear it all the time esp just to cheer up and the choreo during the chorus is also nice. And by God's grace their isn't any weird music mixed in or annoying vocals or chords like in Signal or Likey or TT .
For these kind of fun pop songs I don't care about the lyrics so I just listen to the music to let my mood decide where it goes in my playlist. Only thing I have to complain is that Jihyo's high note music could have been created with more belting notes in it.
From TWICE now I like: Like Oh Ah, Cheer up, Knock Knock (mostly the 2nd half of the song -vocals and instruments), Heart Shaker.

I mean I thought ooh aah, cheer up and TT were very good songs and weren't very overly cutesy so I enjoyed them but I also liked knock knock but I just couldn't listen to signal bcz it was just .... too much for me maybe and then likey was good but this song is .... well it's better than signal of course but ... it's okay just not very veryyyy good,,, but it's your opinion so ... I like this out of all their title tracks. Their voices are clearer and there is actually more singing and not just cutesy chanting or talking or "rapping". There is rapping but incredibly minimal. Also it's already no.1 on melon LOL and performing better than Likey did when it debuted on the charts. For me likey and signal are easily their worst songs ever and are some of the worst in JYP gg discography.

I actually love it - it's like a little mellow but yet cheery song for Christmas. You get the warmness vibe to it which is perfect for Christmas - Merry, Happy, Warm & together
Ugh so I was literally just binge watching all their videos and having such a great time but then I happened upon that controversial "Bigbang isn't relevant" "GD isn't king" "Kwon Jiyong flopped" video and it hurt me right in the pinky of my left toe. Currently trying to forget I ever watched that. Watching David (such a pure soul with squishy cheeks) helps a lot. I agree with Danny's opinion on this song and I actually like a lot of his honest opinions too but I think he needs to remember that commenting on a song and commenting on an artist are two different things. People won't fault you for your opinion on songs cause that's personal preference but when you give opinions on artists, like it or not that becomes hate speech. Anyway, while I am disappointed, I definitely won't be turned off from the channel. David gives me so much life to ever let go.

Cannot agree more. BP's songs talk about much stronger emotions, which are not really true of the girls who sing them considering they never dated or anything. I actually found Twice's songs reflect more closely their age and experience and are more genuine of who they are. Besides, statistics show that girls and women are more likely to buy songs (vs. men buy games), so I don't see why Twice cannot cater to that market.
I'm with David on this song. The girls' singing is strong and bright, the dance is energetic and fun, the song has drive even if hasn't much originality. Hope Danny has a Merry/Happy season anyway. 😍

I don't think it's BAD it's a completely perfectly structured song that it might sound a little boring but true that it's a carol-y song and it's meant for light christmas fun song so I like it!

What I love about you guys is that you are honest with yourself and don't try to fake your feeling for sake of getting views :) I don't feel this song either and I don't think it has the same impact like other Twice's songs. They can get All Kill as they are the top Kpop girlgroup now but it will not get the popularity like TT or Cheer up or even Knock Knock.

heart shaker is a confession song with a christmas vibe , a girl fall in love and she wanted to confess but she's shy and scared and base on the lyrics she decided to confess , it's perfect for me cause i really want to confess to someone.
