every Hollow is different. Mashiro is so good and stable in her Hollowfication that she completely changed her fighting style. She doesn't even use her zanpakutō anymore. Ichigo as always...starts from the bottom.
By the way, I like how Mashiro calls Ichigo "Berry". Because Ichigo means strawberry in Japanese.
It's pronounced the same as strawberry, but not spelled the same in Japanese - the same way pair and pear don't mean the same thing in English
I always interpreted his inner fights are his subconscious/zanpakuto telling him that his fear is making him weak, and that he needs to take pride in his own power and that while he does seek power to protect he also should feel pride in doing so.
Since their swords are part of them, it's enough to reason that Ichigo does feel a sense of pride and possibly even enjoys fighting (though not to the same lvl as Kenny but in his own way) but his fear is just dulling his blade and progress.
Oh yes first time Ouken and Royal Palace topic appears in the anime. Nostalgia :) Nice reaction, I liked it

[Tidbits & Clarification]
[Ep.125]
- It's to be assumed that each Vizard had varied circumstances, the inner battle is reflective of one's own capabilities and struggles.
- Ichigo is human, humans are complex and have many desires. We know he fights to protect but when you look back at his battles you see that he also seemed to enjoy fighting, but for some reason, he seems to neglect that part of himself, and White doesn't like that, he believes it'll get Ichigo killed so he's stepping in.
- As you noted Kenpachi makes an important point, even if Ichigo wants to protect, he still has to want battle so that he can gain the strength to do that, those ideals are intertwined. Ichigo can't be an idealist and just say he wants to protect he needs to accept that to do that he has to want that power and to attain that power he must fight.

- Momo's mental state being showcased is meant to show just how well Aizen manipulated her, that's how capable he was and is when it comes to messing with people's mind(s)
- Ryuuken or Uryu's father would rather Uryu not be a Quincy, and going by what he said it's because it doesn't seem that Uryu has the proper mindset for it. He chooses to capture his Father instead of injuring/attacking him. We know that Quincy by nature destroy hollows entirely, plus they have very strict beliefs, These are concepts that don't seem to naturally align with Uryu's mindset so Ryuuken likely feels it'll get Uryu into bad situations.
(Pratically he's being protective in a very cold way)

I just wanna say it’s incredibly hilarious remembering most of the things Ichigo has said and done throughout the entire series and hearing you think hurting people goes against his character when the first time we meet him he’s stomping a dudes head into the concrete 💀💀💀

I'm surprised you'd even think Ichigo was really reticent to mildly hurt others. Killing, or fighting with a _weapon_ an opponent who doesn't want to fight, maybe - but the very first scene he appears in, he kicks a dude's head into the ground repeatedly.
I don't think Ichigo is cruel, but if you ask me, he definitely likes fighting - he just doesn't like war and people dying, but the fighting itself is fine
Edit: Also, his dad isn't just a doctor - he's a Soul Reaper. Considering that fact, I doubt he would have taught him to not hurt others at all costs. He probably considers fighting a means to protect others too, if I were to guess
After reading the manga I understand Hinamori, the director changed some of Aizen's scenes that "solidified" his "character" even more. Aizen really did a number on her.

Maybe Kisuke's bankai is to deadly to be used for training.
There are several bankais in bleach world that simply can't be used for training (for various reasons). Too deadly, too gimmicky, unsuited for combat etc

The representation of the Ichigo's past fighta being played here being that they are reflections of his mind are essentially telling him that he knows how to fight, he may even like fighting, and that he just needs to tap into those instincts and stop over thinkinf and stop being afraid. It comes back to when Old Man Zangetsu taught him not to be afraid when he was training with Kisuke, and Kisuke's teachings that you need resolve, otherwise you are just holding yourself back and will get yourself killed.

I think it's pretty save to say Ichigo doesn't mind hurting someone, though Killing is another thing.
As for Ichigo's power, well He is special and not just a little.
As for the Baldy comment, that Hiyopri keep calling people and the main reason Ikkaku took offense to it, going by what i've been told in the past:
Baldy used in this context is referring to someone immature someone who has yet to hit Puberty. (Hench Bald in another way)
So I suppose it could be comparable to being called Greenhorn or whatever

This thing about royal family it was talked about the soul society arc but it was called noble clans, it was called the big 4 or 5 noble family clans. byakuya, shihoin, shiba those names are some of the family's names that are part of the 5 or 4 noble clans.

It seems that Uryu went easy on his dad by doing a trap to restrain rather than using something that could hurt him. His dad ironically dislikes that Uryu didn’t go for a real attack, even though they are training. Essentially he dislikes that Uryu is soft, probably because he himself is a rather harsh personality. But he says he’ll “let it slide” because deep down he actually cares for him.
When the hollow said "I'll be the king", he was referring to the world of Ichigo's mind. Ichigo is not related to the soul king. That would've been a fun direction for Kubo to go in, though.

Uryu and ryuken share a complicated relationship due to a lot of factors most of them will be unraveled further down the line in the tybw so for now don't judge ryuken that quickly
Your source material video's volume is always so quiet, I don't get it. If you do this because your own voice is too silent then by comparison, perhaps it is time to get a Shure microphone :P. All I know is this: 95% of youtube videos, I don't ever need to adjust the volume, but on your channel I do, because everything is too silent. And by that same 95% criteria, it is your recording output that's at the core of this and not something on my end, since majority of channels' volume is just fine.

The king of this world thing is fascinating, but probably too broad of an interpretation. Zangetsu and White are very literal, but they don't speak about the "outside" unless it's gleaned through Ichigo and his emotions, so a theory based off of what they'd said would be more accurate to an "inner world".

30:35 You're right, it's a fight he doesn't have to be part of, least all alone, but he inserts himself into anyway. Maybe what Kenpachi said in head, that Ichigo actually *likes* to fight isn't actually that far off🤔 (excluding of course the more meta reason of he's the protagonist of a shounen anime so of course he's involved in everything)
He has always been like that. He does enjoy fighting and winning. He used to fight when he was in school. HE was part of the delinquent group as we had seen long long ago. He just doesn't like fighting without reasons. And his main reason here is protecting the things he holds dear or cares for. He, very consciously, made a grumpy persona for himself at school simply because he could intimidate other students lol. Remember when Kon totally ripped his image apart in school after getting extra* flirty with girls and Ichigo went "OH NO HE RUINED THE IMAGE I CREATED FOR SO LONG". Anyway, we have also seen him lament when he gets defeated in battle. He isn't scared - he just feels disappointed when he loses the battle. All of that points to one thing - he enjoys the battle and winning them. He tries to take on the biggest foe without any help every time (and proceeds to get killed but thats besides the point). So he really enjoys the battle, winning them, and feeling that he protected everyone involved like a superhero would.
Damn that Ytube man, he needs to calm down and let us have these!
