I don’t understand how to Finnish this mission, I’ve replayed it atleast 4 times, I’ve gotten one of my tanks to the rear like it asked, and my remaining men to the original position like it says but it won’t complete the task of retreating to the original position, so my remaining men are in that position until they’re finally all killed and mission is failed… I don’t understand
UPDATE: Nevermind i just got it, guess a handful of men weren’t close enough to the trigger…..

Saw Rimmy's video of this mission, I see why it's so bad now. You could've probably taken on the massive counterattack but the mission forces you to retreat. Probably the worst one in the ostfront extension. Good gameplay.
One year after you post this I find out I'm not alone suffering with this shitshow.

Great run, pretty quick too. One question, is there a specific reason why you retreated the AT crew before the tanks? I feel like you could have kept them crewed, to cover the tanks' retreat, instead of abandoning the tanks. For the mission I know it doesn't really matter but was wondering if there was a tactical reason for it. Thanks for the uploads.
They move very slow
....first I would like to congratulate you because the maneuver as a whole in this mini battle was practically perfect...and why not say brilliant in its final retreat...the only case that I would cite as a small flaw I saw (I can to be wrong...but that's how I saw it) was at the time you were shooting a Panzer 3 (I believe) with a 50mm cannon on a T-34 (which was already slightly damaged) and you went down on the ground and caught a better angle...but you had not yet destroyed the last obstacle on the road and was trying to hit the T-34 with a few shots...this for me was the only mistake because when descending the terrain I believe you forgot that although the the angle was better...the obstacles were in the same direction as your 50mm cannon and so some shots bounced off the obstacles and didn't reach the T-34....then when there was already a small gap there you can hit the T -34...understand it as an observation and not as a criticism...I think the moment of action can provoke this ...but it was a great move.
The T-34 is damaged but the tank crew is still alive inside the tank, you can see them on the mini map, small red dots over red triangle, i tried to destroy the tank crew because sometimes they manage to move the turret or MG and hit your units, so is better if you also destroy the tank crew, this way you are 100% sure they don't hit your units. After tank crew is eliminated a white triangle appears on the mini map.
The audio is the best

Destroyed all the obsticles but my tanks are still sitting in the same spot, artillery spotter and radio truck ok.

how do you tell which artillery ammo is best for each target? I have no idea what those letters and numbers mean lol. I assume that one anti-personnel, another is anti-tank, and another explosive or something. Is that right? How do you tell which is which?

I get my guys to retreat and then nothing happens just stuck on the edge of the map still fighting the counter attack. And yes all my units are at the retreat location
same here. the devs are terrible at making the ai and missions
@@warriorhobo3935 yeah, it’s not fantastically thought through. I found out that you have to get the downed pilot back to the retreat to actually make it work. But it doesn’t exactly remind you of that when it says retreat and you go back just sitting there for hours thinking it’s a glitch.
@@Benjamin-578 the devs really messed everything up and they made it hard too mod too. thats why there isnt a cheatsmod for this which i really want for this game.

How do you use the tanks in this mission? like what do i have to do to use them
only when the last barricade is cleared at 1:14:00 are they usable
It's cathartic watching you perfectly clear this mission when I, in my wisdom, didn't even know how to delete the obstacles xD I had to do it at the end of the mission when I was defending against the counter-attack, it got spicy for a while!
Playing this game longer you gain experience, don't worry 👍

anti tank mines don't detonate if infantry step on them, they are calibrated to detonate if a heavy combat vehicle drives on top of them

why the fuck did man of war not tell me about this? it looks and feels like an improved men of war game the ui the grafics the lot
I hate the UI, sometimes it's hard noticing your bleeding unit. All icon is rusty and transparent. But i adore so much the sound design though, like I'm inside a ww2 movie.

This mission is way hard I didn't find the pilot
The pilot is placed random in different places, search it in all buildings in that area
6 men and 2 vehicles.. Damn this is Hitler's dream hahaha
this mission is so god damn stupid I got all my guys to the point at the end and they wouldn't leave....
