As a Boise state fan I'm happy to see he finally has what seems to been talent around him and a competent coaching staff! Cant wait to see this kid play on Sundays
As a BSU fan, I would argue that he was doing those same things at Boise. I'm not sure how you came up with the conclusion that he "looks better than he did at Boise State". Good luck, Taylen! I'll be rooting for you, especially against Bama!
It was just some things I heard from Boise fans and seen, his accuracy was an issue at times but I feel that maybe that’s more of a consistency issue because at practice he has had days where he is just off. Seems to me that he’s erratic at times too but we really won’t know until the season starts.
@@HawgHomer The coaches just were not confident after his rookie season never really gave him a chance to grow or learn any mistakes and he was pulled. Last year we ran a "two quarterback system" half the year
Fresno State made Taylen look like a high school kid so I’ll agree with the video… some of those throws were 100% better than what he did at BS. Also that was a lite scrimmage, let’s see what happen when the lights are on.
Green does have super star potential. He can run with the best of them. The issue has always been accuracy. If he can fix the accuracy issue and his O-line can hold up. Man he will go to the next level. Andy Avalos screwed with him here at BSU. As a BSU fan we wish him the best. Hopefully he can take the Razorbacks to the next level. Go Green!!!
As a Boise fan he shows a lot of good accuracy the problem is sometimes he tries to thread the needle too much, For example that play at 53 seconds , if that defender doesn’t slip that’s either a tipped ball or defender getting in front of it. It wasn’t that he couldn’t move the ball it’s just when he would he would have turnovers. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with him this year though, as his upside is insane .
You already mainlined the kool aid JACKO. This performance was against 2nd team defensive players for the last place team in the SEC West and next to last overall SEC team.
@@Jaybrown223 ya he is better than KJ. He's bigger, faster, and has a better arm. He's more intelligent and is coachable Petrino struck gold with this kid.
@@HawgHomer yes I would expect just about any decent QB to dominate against Arkansas 2nd string defense. Now how would he do against Alabama or LSU 2nd string defense? I’m sure he would look average against them think about it.
Im a Texas fan tryna get familiar with the SEC teams. I gotta say, first thing I thought when i saw him was Vince Young. Pair him with Jackson at RB and Arkansas will likely have the toughest run game to defend in the SEC.

Ceiling is sky high for green
I am very impressed with this kid and he is a beast!

@@AndrewStrohl-ny1yd for sure, would be tuff for any qb to gain confidence or get in a rhythm when you in a 2 qb system

Sad he is no longer a Bronco. Wish him all the best with Arkansas.
I think Avalos had EVERYTHING to do with that. I think BSU will be in good hands with Madsen though. Madsen is a baller!

So he did what he was supposed to do, still a good thing
He is way better than KJ
Looked good but it’s only the spring game, I’m excited for sure tho
No he isnt better than kj....

Remember he was playing against the 2nd string defense in the red and white game
Then he did what he was supposed to do then which was dominate

Can’t wait to play yall next szn, always a crazy atmosphere when Texas comes into town.
if that 1st play is in a game he is nailed at the 50 yard line
Boise State always has great players
Have you seen our 1st string running back Ashton Jeanty? If he can stay healthy, I can see him breaking 2000 yards this year.
He’s good but he was basically tackled on the td run as you said.
