@@WhatThePho thanks you
You’ve inspired my 6 years old. She would like to go to Vietnam and not leave until she tries all the food from your show. She even tried durian today. Lol, not her favorite.
Didnt skip the 2nd ad with 3minutes duration ☺️ and youre so lovely, Van! I love the snail with coconut cream as well! And would love to try the snail in your vlog.
Thanks Glen!🤗🤗🤗
I have to admit, I had maple syrup snail in Montreal a few years back and It was delicious. If I ever go to Hanoi, I will go for round 2....Greetings from Southern California!!
Another mouth watering and drooling clip, Vân, you are the best🤪!
That looks amazing and delicious!
Wonderful
Can't wait to try that.
Oh my...I can't believe you ordered a second plate of noodles!!! You are truly amazing ... awesome !!! 👏Add more chili next time? Thank you for your videos of Vietnam.
It looks delicious, cold dishes is always good for summer, better appetite.
This is such a good video. I love all single video you upload. I will take a trip to Vietnam soon.
Thanks! See you soon in Vietnam!🤗
I really enjoy watching your videos about life in Vietnam. Amongst most similar videos, yours come across as being very spontaneous, sincere and you just being who you are. Very refreshing. I am always amazed at how folks like yourself manage to be bilingual in English and vietnamese, given vietnamese is not the easiest language to enunciate. Well done and keep making the awesome videos!
Thanks for your kind words!!!❤️❤️❤️

U lucky girl, foods look so good
Yeah, it’s delicious! Come and enjoy it
I like snail too. Dunno where to find it in Vancouver though. Thanks for sharing.
Wow🤩🤩 so yum, we gather snails from the rice farm and that is our viand, super yummy viand with rice❤️, we actually eat that like everyday.
The noodles look delish!
Btw, can you share your skincare routine in a future video? You are glowing in the video!
Thank you! That’s good idea and I’m actually making that video! Stay stuned!!!!
Hi Van I’m from south Vietnam. And I’m struggling with understanding the northern accent. But pls keep speaking and hopefully I will understand better as you do more videos. Keep up the great videos !
Amazing video by Ms. Van Vu. She's a Superwoman. One minute she's in Danang, the next minute she's in Hanoi. LOL
😂😂
You’re hilarious, Vân 😳🙂😄
Nice video. But there are snails in America. I take my mom to the grocery stores often to buy a variety of snails, around Los Angeles area, in California. I’ve ordered escargot in restaurants throughout the country, so we do have snails in America.
Merci pour la dégustation
Chị xinh quá 😍😍
Xinh đẹp, giỏi giang thế này xứng đáng có 10 người yêu 🙈
hi Van ,how are you doing in vitnam?I think it is a good combination between the noodle and the soup.I will try if i go to Hanoi .especially in a hot summer.thanks for yr video.
Thank you! See you soon in Hanoi!!!
I'm taking a gap year soon (not the first time, but hope it's the last 😊), and I'm planning for Hanoi, so thanks What the Pho, will be watching all your videos and try everything you suggest, including all the foods 🧑🍳 P.S.: I would love an apartment like yours at 350$/month 🤗)
It’s interesting that French probably picked up the snail as one of their french cuisine ingredients when they’re around.
I'm coming to celebrate new year with my in-laws (my sister married vietnamese fella) :)
They do have snails in America. Depends where you at in America.
Nice food
I'm gonna try that dish. I'm also interested in the many foods ah that's gonna be awesome
I am going to Nha Trang in 2 weeks. Can you recommend a dish that is loved in that region?
Am not used to snails, only tasted 2 times snails with tomato though sand, too.
Wonder if fresh vegetables or herbs add will taste any better?
Van, not to correct you, but to enlighten you ... We *_do_* have snails in America! Indeed, they aren't very common, but we do have them. We most often serve them broiled in garlic butter, and sometimes we add shallots or other herbs to that. As for restaurants, you will most like likely find them here in French or Spanish establishments., as snails are more common in their food sphere. Cajons are also very fond of snails, and the closer you get to New Orleans, the more likely you will find them on the menu in a Cajon-style restaurant. I myself am fond of the butter garlic style, and I prefer the smaller-sized snails to the larger ones. I have never had them cold! It sounds interesting, especially in the soup you've shared with us here!. I'm sorry that you never got to try them when you lived here. Maybe the next time you return!
***Fun fact: If you soak the snails (still alive) in fresh water before cooking, it will allow them to clear their intestines, and that takes away the gritty/sandy "crunch"!
Oh, thanks for letting me know this information! That’s very helpful. You’re right. Hope when I return to the US, I'll have a chance to try snails in there. Thanks🙏
This is another very interesting video. Cute and informative! Being of French lineage, I have tried the escargot. May I ask, how were the snails prepared beforehand? Also, I'm sure the vinegar-based made it taste very delicious I am more of a sour and very spicy palette LOL.
@1:24 it appears she's using a steam pot.
@@preston74 thanks, have you tried snails prepared this fashion? Just curious...
@@donb.puryearjr.8699 yes I have. you can steam most varieties of snails then enjoy them w/ a special sweet & spicy fish sauce. Other options, French influenced naturally, are to grill or bake with various toppings such as the ones shown at beginning of the video. Bon Appétit!
I do not understand....whatsapp?
The previous comment is fake account. I reported it but somehow it still appear, please be careful!!!
Hi Beautiful, how is it? you like it, thanks for sharing.
Are the snails cooked or raw?
Just curious to know
Snail is so under appreciate for Vietnamese in Vietnam but it looks delicious for us Vietnamese-American workaholic here. Good job!!!
It’s a fake account. Please be careful!!!
So good and yummy 😋 please share VanVu
Maybe try mam tom 😜
Can you compare Cambodian Pho to Vietnam Pho? It taste different.
Chị ơi, địa chỉ chị ăn ở đâu vậy ạ. Em cũng muốn qua thưởng thức chị ạ
In my country we cook snail in coconut milk and pick out the meet using toothpick. I’m really craving for this dish! Hope to try it someday!
@ 0:47 👍
5:50 The Hanoï final sound pronunciation (ạ) is so weird compared to here in Can Tho. 😅
5:00 Fail. 😅 The snail 🐌 fell down and… escaped !!! 😜 Liu Liu !!! 😝
