I watched the game in the stadium....spectators were awesome, Thai team with lots of heart and bad luck, referee a shame, not only because of the second penalty but also because of at least 5 cards not given to Australia. Thailands number 18 was amazing, a very talented player!

The second penalty by Australia was very questionable. I hate to see the result of a match was decided by penalties. Hope soccer can have better rules in this regard in the near future.

the soceroos played a horrible match. their poor is passing what I noticed the most. so many times, they handed the ball to the thais with an inaccurate pass. I'm an Aussie, but Thailand definitely deserved this win. What a disgraceful dive on that last goal.

Did you watch the same match? I would love to see Thailand qualify for the world cup BUT in this match they could have won it but they ruined it for themselves. 2 fouls in the box giving penalties to Australia.
Penalty #1 was 100% correct - 2 feet tackle - not allowed and dangerous. Automatic foul.
Penalty #2 again could have been avoided if Thai player had not pulled the Australian player by his shirt...
These are simple things that could have been avoided and cost Thailand the match. They MIGHT have won if they had played cleaner, simple as that. Don't be blaming the referee, he was doing his job.
