- Amira Willighagen appeared as a guest performer at the Classics is Groot concerts held in South Africa on 23 & 24 June 2017.
During these concerts she sang two solo numbers, viz. Nessun Dorma from the opera Turandot and the traditional hymn, Amazing Grace. She also performed The Flower Duet from the opera Lakmé, together with Corlea Botha. In addition, she collaborated with other artists on the show to perform two further numbers.

Antony G. Me too! My husband loved this song and would have enjoyed this. Our youngest daughter was gifted with such a voice. He delighted in her songs...and she pre recorded this for his funeral. This rendition is one of the best! At his burial in Arlington Natl Cemetery, a lone piper played Amazing Grace. ❤️

God will send a reminder of his love for us so that we may receive it and share it so that it may lift us up together to better take care each other and the world he created for us. Why is it that God is so infinitely patient with us? There must be something very special about us. I need to find out what that is.

I'm 83 and remember singing this at a Billy Graham rally when I was a member of a church youth choir. This performance is fantastic.
I am 76 years old and the song sung by this young woman with the orchestra brought tears to my eyes despite my hearing Amazing Grace many times, I loved it.

That's not something that's possible or even meaningful to judge. There are so many different styles and traditions to sing in, and each singer has something different to offer as an artist, or we would only listen to one singer. Appreciate what a singer is bringing to the music, not to what extent they are better than another -- it's not a zero-sum game.
I am 80 years old I lost my wife of 50 years last year in January 2020 is the first time I heard her sing it's and she stole my heart each and every night I listen to her songs before I go to sleep she has warmed my heart and I'll forever be grateful

What a beautiful young last she has turned into. She now lives in South Africa attending a school, where she can also play hocky and train with her music teacher. Her brother designed the playgrounds in South Africa so the poorer children have a place to play in. The one playground is called Amira's Playground 💕💕I salute U Amira. I are beautiful inside and out 💕💖💕😊

I remember watching Amira on Hollands got talent and saying this girl is going to have the angels listening in awe. Well, I have to think she has succeded. The only way to be reconciled to God and to approach a holy God, is by blood sacrifice, which is provided for you through the death and resurrection of Christ. Repent of sin and believe in the Messiah (anointed Saviour) and you will be saved from the coming destruction. God is also just, so he must deal with sin. God is also merciful and provides us access and adoption to His family through faith in Christ, and Christ alone. By faith, not by works engineered by man, for that is religion. We can only be saved by the grace of God, through faith in Christ.

The full counsel of God's word is contained in the Bible, which was "written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, as God gave them the utterance." When you receive the full counsel of God's word, you will see that God, through Christ, is saving the world. God has spoken, though His word, through acts in history, through His signature stamped on creation, through signs, wonders and miracles, through the testimony of man (numbering in the hundreds of millions), through transformed lives, and through prophecy in the Bible, noe of which can be claimed to be inaccurate (100% prophetically correct to date).
In addition, there is no debate as to whether the manuscipts are authentic; manuscript experts attest to the authenticity of the Scripture. Yes, even non christian manuscript experts. Finally, there is only one way your eyes can be opened to the reality of God, and that is through the Gospel: Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through JEsus Christ the Lord. Repent of your sin now, and believe that Christ died to atone for your sin, and you will know God now, as a new creation, with a new beginning. Your battle is with God and the revelation of His Son Jesus. Time is short, and we are coming the the end of the end times on the earth. Prophecy in Bible Scripture is evidencing this right now. God is not a "higher power". He is the supreme being of the universe. This "Higher Power" that people profess, can be anything you want "it" to be. But God does not roll like that. He calls it worship of false God(s). These are Gods created in man's own image, to satisfy mans own wants, and lusts. Look at it this way. To approach a King, you cannot dictate your terms and protocols. You must abide by the King's edicts. Now Jes, King of Kings, represents God, and "our sins have separated us from a holy, just and righteous God." Only through faith and belief in Christ (His sacrifice, His blood, His covenant) can we approach God. Christ is the only mediator between man and God.
