I gotta say, that's the best I've seen Xavier Tillman play. He was everywhere, blocking, rebounding, scoring, hustling the down the court...That's how I wanna see him play from now on!
This team will have a lot of trouble going all the way with the injuries they have, but remember 98-99? We had a great leader and point guard in Mateen, but we lost Antonio Smith and Jason Klein, but we had a lot of new young talent to supplement Cleaves, Bell, Hutson, and Granger. That's exactly what we have this year. We lost two great ones, but have some great new talent to support Winston, Ward, and Langford. Next year - 20 year anniversary with a team so much like the 2000 team it is ridiculous. If we don't make it this year, Cass needs to convince this team that they are destined to win it all in 2020 - because they can.
MSU's M*A*S*H unit swept UM in the regular season! And they got to beat their biggest rival on senior day for a B1G Championship! What an amazing story for these guys! Cassius should be B1G POY, as well as 1st team All-American. GO GREEN!
It almost brings me to tears when I think about Winston didn't get a chance at the NCAA tournament in his senior year
