So my little s pen icon is not showing up on the screen when my s pen is removed. Usually it just pops up when I pull the pen out but not on the s24 ultra. Any ideas?

Hi! Do you know what happened with Live Message and Glance functions for S-Pen on S24 Ultra? I noticed lack of them very quickly on my S24 Ultra since I am a heavy S-Pen user. They were available on my previous S22 Ultra and back to Note8 😭

Jeff, fantastic tutorial indeed. I wanted to ask if we can get that good ole "Collect" feature that once Note3 and Note4 had, where you could collect upto 10 snapshots of various items and then make a scrapbook page out of it. Ot was so super useful for research and planning...that sumsung took it out via software updates and still not returned. I wonder if you know of anything similar..as it saved a ton of time by simply adding to the collect button and not redo the process 10 times.
Oh and BTW, your s24ultra 'Rocks"..no pun intended..😂
Hello, excuse me, why the two features of S Pen that I mention below are not available in S24 Ultra, while they are available in S23? Glance and live massage. Is it possible to add these two features?

The s pen is brilliant! I have a feature where when I pull it out of my s23 ultra it sounds like a star wars light Saber. I also use it for volume gestures and to take pictures and navigate and text when my fingers get tired. It's also awesome for photo editing

On your phone I see on the right side of the screen by the volume button a blue "tab". Is this the tab to open edge panels?? I was told the s24 would not have that due to the flat screen. Please tell me that edge panels are still available for the S24 Ultra!

I paid using PayPal. Total amount was $5,267 (Australian dollars). Arriving on 30th at our house. Gonna have to look on our outdoor home security cameras to make sure no one steals the items.

It's listed on the verification form...boxes ship starting February 5th and will be completed shipping by end of February. We ship them in the order verification forms were submitted. So depending on when you filled out the form will determine your shipping date. Please make sure you did fill out the form as it is the only way we generate shipping labels directly from the form Data.

Why can't I "pin" a note on lock screen instead of saving to notes???...using tab s8ultra
When you pull the pen out to write a memo is there still an annoying delay (when the screen is turned off) before you can start to write on the screen? I never ever had that on previous note and ultra phones but on my ultra 22 it has been an issue since release.

I use my magnifier on my s21 ultra a lot. I was hoping they moved it to where the pen would be slightly to the side so it's not blocking the text. Should be simple enough in an update.

👑 Maybe I am missing something here? All these features that you say the S24 Ultra can do? My Samsung Note Plus can do also. The only feature that my Note 10 can’t do is the circle to search feature.
That is the only feature that sets the brand new S24 Ultra apart from my 4 year old Note 10 Plus based on the features that you are showing in this video.
This is a tutorial for people new to Samsung. No one is claiming it has a bunch of software features old notes don't have...however there's plenty of hardware features that set this phone apart from your older device, this is just about s pen functionality.

Also don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to be negative with this video or anything like that. I just thought based on the title I was going to see the new features that the S Pen can do with the S24 Ultra.
Nevertheless I pre-ordered My S24 Ultra. Because Samsung there’s no longer supporting my Note 10 with OS or security updates anymore. even though it’s still running brand new 4 years later.
One thing I am please to have found out that S24 Ultra will support 7 years of OS and security updates.

I am trying to upgrade my mobile and I have 3 options at the moment,so help me figure it out.
I am using a OP9 Pro currently and I got a green line a couple days back, I will get it replaced for free for sure and then sell it.
My options are OP12, S24 Ultra or an old S23 Ultra. I cannot afford the S24 and 2nd hand S23 ultra is being sold for around 80k in India. So what should I do. Should I get the old S23 ultra as it will have the S pen or should I get the OP 12 as it will be even cheaper than the 2nd hand S23 Ultra here in India.
What do you suggest?

Congratulations on both going full time, I remember when you first mentioned that was your plan - time flies, and on getting your S24U early. I wasn't initially sold on that color in the initial renderings; but, it looks absolutely beautiful here. It was a good choice. How is carrier compatibility here in the States with the Latin market Galaxy? I assume Mint is good because of their T-Mobile backbone, but what about Verizon?
Verizon doesn't work on this one sadly but running the Mint sim in it and it's great

I just hate that they got of live messaging on the S24 Ultra, I even tried sideloading it and the phone just will not install it.

Turn on your "leave s pen behind" setting in your phone. If you walk away without the s pen your phone freaks out and makes a weird noise telling you to find it.

Well I did your mystery box over and over again and even canceled 2 times but I refuse to canceled again because they keep pushing the 1tb version further away and the price raised this time so I guess I can't get it unfortunately.

That's real nice they took the ability away from us to totally remove the gesture hint bar and look how it pushes up everything on the screen especially when you're at the home screen and or keyboard your keyboard now gets pushed up because of extra dead space needed to have this stupid feature that is already implemented within Google Assistant and can be accessed by swiping up from any bottom corner! Because of this alone I'm thinking about returning the s24 ultra I mean you're losing part of the bottom of the screen because of this stupid bottom gesture bar not being able to be hidden any longer
Definitely wouldn't return a phone due to thus. Also navstar Will probably add option back eventually
@@jspring86 I guess ur right ,right now I tried adding the gesture bar back to start getting used to it for when my phone arrives next week.and I used nav star to shrink the size and it also pushes it down more .but I hope it works on UI 6.1 as well.i don't want anything really as far as gesture hints .it takes up.screen space and is ugly.

Great app I know all these things but watching you is much easier and by the way my math is horrible I even forgot what what kind of method we have now because I've never used math that much but that's a good idea you know that showing that app anyway Jeff take care The reason why your s pen is lagging it's because it's got to get used to it I had that in the beginning with my s23 it was lagging the more I use it the more it started picking up just keep trying you'll see take care😊

Seen this phone at BestBuy and it did not impress me at all. Build quality looks cool but feels cheap in the hand. Also colors looked washed out even in vivid mode. And no I'm not an android hater... I love Samsung and own one myself. Choose wisely!

To be honest. I'm not happy with my S24 ultra. I feel like I'm paying for the same phone. Everything is the same except S24 ultra has washed out colors. But the hardware is the same, all we got is software which will be coming to older devices.
