I remember when Friendswood was a Texas powerhouse over 20 years ago.
Now they'd get the living crap kicked out of them by Houston area teams such as North Shore, C.E. King, Katy and Crosby. 💯🏈

However, teams from different classes have been known to play each other during non-district games.

@Ryan McCarthy they can it's just that they usually stay with their normal 6as like Summer Creek, Doby ( this is interchangeable) , and Clear Brook. This game, a lot of seniors left the year prior, the o-line all graduated, and they had receivers graduate plus a decent amount of defensive and special teams guys all graduated. Going back to the non-district game, friendswood might start playing better. 6as as the old head coach retired, and the new head coach is the offensive coordinator from Denton Guyer, and before that, he was working at Rockwall. So all I know is change is going to come for all of friendswood athletics, especially the recent hire for the new boy basketball head coach who was the head coach to Katy Hs. Sorry for the detour. Wanted to solidify the point that friendswood is going to probably change from their ideals of tradition but not too much of a change if you know what I mean.
