  • What does older women training younger women have to do with creation, the fall, redemption, and transformation? Everything, says Susan Hunt. This Titus 2 model might not be the strategy you'd expect to advance the gospel, but this is God’s strategy. “Who but God would have thought of such a strategy,” Susan asks, “using ordinary, weak women to accomplish such an extraordinary mission?”

I feel the Lord has called me to this ministry. Currently my church has no women’s ministry. I have just begun reading Spiritual Mothering, Titus 2 for women mentoring women, by Susan Hunt. I bought this on a whim with my last ten dollars from my church’s bookstore. I had almost spent that ten dollars a half hour before that Kroger, but the Uscan I was at didn’t accept cash. I believe God had this book set aside for me to purchase. I don’t know how I’ll begin this work, but I accept the challenge and I know that if He has called me to it, He will be faithful to finish the work in me. I am only 35, I have four children, one with special needs, and I know this requires sacrifice in some way. But I feel this is my calling and teaching is my spiritual gift. I look forward to pouring into other women’s lives and I dream about the day I will be able to them all by the hand and walk with me into the gates of Heaven. I want to store up eternal treasures in heaven... where the enemy cannot touch and where they never fade away. Pray for me, if you think of me.

Gosh, ordinary weak women... so many of us struggle in our day-to-day walk with our own life challenges. I couldnt imagine being this to a young girl. She would just see what a mess my life is most of the time, and how much I struggle in my own walk with the Lord. I know of many many Christians like me.

You will never feel like you've arrived. Be encouraged! Be mentored by someone while you mentor :) go to the 13 minute mark in this video. Don't let the devil lie to you about who you are. God's peace and confidence rest on you sister. Shalom

We all struggle with our walk with God. We are flesh and we are all imperfect. Do not be afraid to tell your story because it may help some one some day. When we have a problem we are supposed to pray and read the bible.

Do you know a group where I can join and be trained to be a Titus 2 woman? Thanks. Using my husband's youtube account. I am from the Philippines. Very much appreciated for the response.

Is the middle school program that she speaks of available to the public? I think she called it "biblical womanhood."
