I enjoyed this video. The instructor is very good at explaining the various components of the system. I hope he continues to make more informative videos just like this.

That was the best training video I have ever watched. Richard Thomas does an excellent job explaining how the different components of the water heater system work individually and how they work together. Thank you Mega Western and Richard Thomas for making this video. I will seek you out your services and products for my water heater system needs.

Thanks to Richard and team for this informative video, much appreciated. I’ll add a recent troubleshooting experience on a new GNU100-200 install on Dec, 2019. The gap between the spark electrode and what Richard termed the “butterfly tip” was factory supplied with 1/8” gap. It would NOT spark at this gap. Increased the gap to 3/16” (per Rheem tech support) and it sparked/fired right up.

Good to know!. Question . What if you have two different size tanks side by side . How would you plumb them. A hotel had 2 Rheem boilers (360kbtu) side by side running parallel. The right one went out so they bought a high powered ao smith (199kbtu) with about half the btu and recovery rate . They want me to just plumb it in as fast as possible which would mean parallel like it was before . I’m thinking a series might be better . Your thoughts ?

If everything is working as it should do the red lights turn off when it gets up to the proper temp and then kick back on when it calls for more hot water?

My friend has a G100-200 model, which was manufactured in 2016, has problems after business resume from Covo19. Water directly goes out via relief valve. Is that mean the valve is failed? It also gives error code: 6, 7, 8: internal error, flame rod shorten and low in voltage

Hire a professional. He's not telling you how to do the job, he's going over the system and its components.
