We should pray for the interpretation of our tongues. I used to always interpret my own tongues in English. It will come out of my mouth…in English ,although I’m still speaking in tongues! When I tried to figure it out, I would not get the understanding… but as soon as I just focus on him and pray in tongues, The understating will come out clear. The mysteries of God.. Is just so amazing! But I will say that if we lay in his presence and just soak him up without speaking at all… our spiritual gifts will open up… I did this and was like oh my God! I could see Evil all around people that looked happy or normal. It was the Holy Spirit! WORSHIP GOD
God determined the boundaries scripture. Abraham had 3 titles because of his obedience to God. 1.friend of God. 2. Father of faith. 2. Father of nations from which Christians and Muslims called as their ancestors.

The Spirit of God is not that of confusion and we communicate directly to God when we speak in tongues through the Holy Spirit who gives us utterance by the power of God vested on him ,or less we speak in tongues on our intent, then we can control it, that is why I am worried about those who say speak in tongues as if it is their own making,when the true power of the Holy spirit comes and gives the utterance,you cannot control it , that is the difference,the spirit of God is not that of confusion and he does not give and back it with sorrow ,this pastor's preaching is confusing I must say, may God take over and plant the truth.

The message is crystal clear. You must have been confused by the title given by 1 soaking channel which is misleading. Forget about the 1 soaking channel title and listen again with an open heart.
When you first get filled with the Holy Spirit, you cannot control your speaking in tongues at that moment because it is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. But when that moment passes, you will discover that from thence forth, you can speak in tongues whenever you decide to. You do it and yet you couldn’t do it before the baptism of the Holy Spirit. After the Holy Ghost baptism is when the gift of tongues begins to operate under your control. Thereafter, God may want you to have a refreshing encounter with the Holy Spirit. If this happens, you will see that you will find yourself speaking in tongues like the first time you were baptized with the Holy Spirit. During this time, it will again be very beautiful to pray in tongues and difficult to control in case you want to stop. Sometimes, it may be a spiritual laughter, also beautiful and almost uncontrollable. The fact that these encounters are difficult to control by the man who is under the power of the Holy Spirit makes it something that does not happen everyday but on times when God wills and decides to visit you. It May sometimes take years for such encounters of refreshing to occur again, but that does not mean you can not pray in tongues. Tongues are meant to be controlled in most cases, just like prophecy. This is because God is not the author of confusion. Imagine, you are the pastor preaching, then suddenly, all those that can speak in tongues (who maybe the majority of your members) begin to speak in tongues without being able to control themselves, do you think you would be able to preach the message God has given you for that day? Worse if yourself too are also speaking in uncontrollable tongues? I think you would almost never preach your messages. If the spirit of the prophet is subject to a prophet, what more the spirit of the one speaking in tongues? God is not the author of confusion: and such would bring some form of confusion. There is no need to be confused. These things are there in scripture. You are only confused because you have not sat down to read and pray so that you can search the deep things of God. Read the entire book of acts and pray so much that God should open your eyes of understanding and you will be shocked at what details you have been missing concerning the Holy Spirit and His gifts. If you hunger to read more about Him, read also the letters of paul, the ministry of Jesus, thereafter the rest of the Bible. Don’t read it like a mere man reads to understand natural books. Read it with the help of the Holy Spirit in prayers, and the Holy Spirit himself will come and shock you by teaching you and making you understand even more than all this that is confusing you.
When you pray in tongues, your spirit is praying but your mind is without understanding. Surely there is the possibilty of the interpretation of tongues, but the preacher is saying that besides your prayer time, talk to God as a person, in a language that you understand, tell him your fears and worries, if you read the book 'Practing the presence of God' by a brother Lawrence in the 17th century I presume, you'd get more clarity into this. He's not saying don't pray in tongues, he's saying, besides that, find a time when you sit down and you're talking to God, the same way you would share your worries with a man. Rick Warren's 'The purpose driven life' also talks well about this in the chapter 11 'Becoming best friends with God'. Thank you. Peace upon you
