- Hey folks! In today’s videos we’re back with another unseeded Balatro high score attempt. In this run, an early Sock and Buskin gave the build immediate direction as I pared down my deck to exclusively King of Diamonds, the result was a run that made it pretty deep into the late antes. Enjoy the video!
Balatro is a poker roguelike deck building game centered around creating powerful synergies and winning with big hands. In it, you can combine valid poker hands with unique Jokers in order to create varied synergies and builds. Earn enough chips to beat blinds, including challenging boss blinds, to make it to the next ante and progress your run!

You can tell the run went well when the video is over an hour and a half

Pro tip: don't cover sock's (white half) eyes and focus on what the black half looks like. It looks like he's getting his socks off and about to busk, if you catch my drift

there was an event hosted by an balatro streamer where some streamers had the same seed and they had 1 hour of time to get the highest score on said seed

Another almost 2 hour grind of nothing but awe-inspiring, number crunching, card clashing game of Balatro? Don't mind if I doooo!
1:31:40 since the only hand that matters is the last one, I think the play is to just play 1 card hands and then full send it on the last one. The 5 cards at the end are random no matter what, and this way you risk a lot less glass in the other hands.

My man came a little when that Aura hit polychrome. So did I.
With this setup Seltzer was x243 mult and Photograph was x256. But with glass Seltzer goes to the moon quick

doesn't synergise with the lucky king retriggers alongside idol, would have to scrap an already established synergy to restart on a new one
The deck is focused on playing kings, not having them in hand. Near the end of the run he ended up with a hand size of 6 and would always play flush fives, meaning that only one king would get baron’d every hand, which just isn’t very good.
Does anyone has any idea why he skipped Baron?
His deck is built around playing kings, not keeping them in hand. With a hand size of 8 he will only get 3 1.5x mult which compared to any other joker he can get just isn’t worth it

I had a run today with an Ante 1 Eternal Cert, what i would have given for a S&B. Instead, got a Fib and a Hack with a negative Ancient. Rounded out witb a Brainstorm, and eventually a late Hiker to add chip value.
Edit: not S&B, but the one that retriggers all hand abilities
Mime is the one that retriggers card held in hand abilities i think.

This game gets on my damn nerves ... the game ALWAYS ... and i mean ALWAYS...goes against what ever set up i try . I've been playing this game all day every day for 3 MONTHS ! BRO.... I have not won a single game . The boss blinds are so bullshit. The RNG is bad enough but when you finally get a good set up going the boss blind just so happens to be something stupid :
1.) you can only draw 3 cards
2.) All of your diamonds are debuffed even though you have a full deck of diamond aces
3.) face cards don't score
4.) Jokers don't do shit hahah bitch
I've tried so many strategies just to try and win the game ONE TIME and the game always goes against me. Dude I can't get past ante 7.
Even with $147 run with polychrome jokers , a deck full of aces , flushes upgraded to like lvl 8 and cards that benefit from flushes and the game still screws me over . I can't believe people said this game is skill based . This game is nothing more than RNG .
I'm fed up with this game I mean winning one game in 3 months ??? WTF is this game ?
