- FL2K never disappoints when it comes to unique cars in attendance, on this episode we feature Brett's 950WHP AWD RSX Type-S. This is one of a few in the country that has been converted to AWD using factory Honda parts. Brett built this amazing machine in his garage, slowly tweaking the setup over the past 5 years. He took down some serious cars in the roll race competition and he takes us for a ride to see what it's all about. This car is pure dreams for any acura/honda enthusiast!

Built hp is all motor naturally aspirated.
@@ACommenterOnCZcams Turbo isn't bought HP. Just buying one and having sitting on a shelf doesn't add any HP. He had to fabricate the turbo kit to make any use of it. Still built.

I know this man personally and have been in the passenger seat of this machine back when it was still FWD. No exaggeration whatsoever, this man may be the most talented and dedicated person I've ever met and this thing is a fuck ton of alot faster than videos depict. Its not about 4 banger vs tt v10 .... its about how much hp he has vs his opponent regardless of what car it is

230+ bhp per cylinder is impressive to me regardless what vehicle its in. More so when its home built on a budget

They aren’t TOO expensive just a bit of fab work needed, the biggest drawback is gas tank placement
@@Kseriessuck if youre doing all the work yourself or have sponsorships its "not too expensive" but this would litterally cost the average joe 50k+ for a setup like this pushing similar power. quality parts are not cheap, not even for Hondas. Honestly 400-450whp in a Honda street car is more than enough power tho. good enough to walk some 700hp cars and cruise through canyons and then make it back home.
@@kuya_mike7813 well im talking about the drivetrain swap itself not motor setup or even fuel system to begin with, awd swaps in the dc5 aren’t TOO expensive considering the amount of components involved, the subframes are cheap the transmission and t case is pricey but still affordable, the real headache is the fab work as there’s not enough research done and not too many companies are currently offering support but with time these swaps will get more r&d and more companies will offer solutions and support, there’s a lot of “average joes” that are doing these swaps under a garage and even in their driveway, just takes time and patience

Incredible, I had an 2002 Acura Rsx type s that was just under 500 whp and it was incredibly fast but was fwd so it couldnt pull like this! Amazing build 👍

This is an awesome set up just cause he kept it reliable as possible with as much stock components as possible. Really can't beat that Honda . . . ACURA quality. Has me pondering another rsx. 3rd times the charm.
it’s always good to see what my build RSX is going to be in the future. I have had this set up in mind since I saw the video of all wheel EG build. I have the base platform K20A3 with K-PRO ecu set up to 8K RPM, love the screams from my HKS Exhaust system. Still saving money to get K20A from Type R or K24z3 from tsx or Accord.
No matter what super cars comes out every year the Japanese cars will always keep them in check
Amazing craftsmanship, especially his TIG work. The RSX is one of my all-time favorite cars. I remember wanting one when they were released, however, just being out of high school and the cars arriving on dealer lots about a year after, they were out of my range. I have been looking for a clean RSX Type R with 6-speed and lower miles. They are very hard to find in Alaska. The ones that do come up are stupid high miles or have been raced/beaten to death.
I gotta give major props to this guy that built this RSX! 1 hella badass RSX!! You can never go wrong with a k-series and AWD!!🙌🍻😃

This thing is beautiful I use to own a EP3 05 Hatch Si. I had a Type S for a few months till I found out I bought a lemon the engine seized the second month due to the person that owned just trashed it and try to sell it looking perfect on the outside but engine was sprayed to the point of no life. I love this car. Also who and why in the world is there 34 unlikes in this what's wrong with those people sheesh. Im glad I'm a car guy it's about the only normalcy left in the world and oh Yeah Save all the race Cars and Street Cars. I'm currently doing a Is300 build I wanna get TRC approved one Day keep making these vids for my sake and sanity thank you we love you!

I wonder when we are gonna start seeing people get tired of the swap and just build 1,000 horsepower CRV's and Elements.
As someone who grew up in the Tuner scene (late 90's early 2000's) I remember when 200-300 hp per liter was huge. Now guys making 500hp per liter is just bonkers.
Also thts back when it was slower cars too coming off the assembly line. But now u need more power bcuz they making cars a lil quicker.😩😩 believe me i understand u.
