Hi! Thank you for your kind words and best of luck on your journey with Solidworks. It's a ton of fun to pick up and I'm sure many hours figuring things out. To build our model, we used an official scale model of a Benz Motorwagen to measure each dimension with a dial caliper alongside whatever video and image documentation we could find online. Unfortunately, we are not sharing our model publicly at the moment! Best of luck!

I’m really sorry, but I don’t currently have access to the CAD model after all these years. I’m not using a Windows PC these days to run PTC Creo. But if I get the file up again, I will get back to you!

How long did it take you to make this? I can barely make a box in cad.
It took a team of three around 1.5 months or so. It's been a while since university, and we had other classes to take care of, but there were certainly late nights in the lab. With practice and a desire to learn, you can definitely make anything!

@@natti1972 Thanks Natti! Unfortunately, we are not currently providing our CAD to the public. Since it's a 3D exercise, we cannot guarantee that our model is specced for actual machining.
